Tim Urban was horrible last night. None of these kids are in the same league as the late great Freddie Mercury. It is such a insult when they pick Queen songs. Tim YOU CAN NOT SING! What was up with that sliding routine? I never laughed so hard in my life. I loved when Kara put him in his place. I remember a few years ago when the theme was Queen I just kept saying sorry Freddie over and over as another idol would butcher Freddie's great songs. The only one I ever saw who could sing Queen was Michael Johns. He knew what Queen song fit him and pulled it off. That was one of his best performances. Sadly there is no Michael Johns in this group and we were tortured once again last night with Tim Urban and his awful performance of Crazy Little Thing Called Love. Also sadly the majority of people were a major stink bomb and we may be stuck with Tim for another week. I personally am hoping he will go but I have a feeling the 10 and 12 year old's will be keeping him around. YUCK! I will be keeping my fingers crossed anyway.

Yes, I agree they should stop singing Queen. Poor Tim, what a mess. I like him, but he needs to stick with softer ballads, he is no rocker. I guess the problem is that even when he sings ballads, he's boring. I think he has that "High School Musical" look that appeals to young girls. I think Lee is a good singer, and I like Casey as well. On the girls side, there is Chrystal and Siobhan. I easily think they could get rid of the rest right now, and go right to that final 4 without any problem. I guess we have to remember that all this bad singing endures because of elimination night, when they have real artists on who get to promote their latest records. That's why they drag this torture out.

I am just really disappointed in this group. The last few seasons we had a great group and the show was entertaining. I don't care for Tim or Casey. So far no one is standing out as a fav of mine yet. Except for Simon. LOL

The only thing I don't like about Simon is that the only contestant he likes is Crystal, so he will only say positive things about her. He seems awfully grumpy too, I mean more than usual. Maybe it's because it's his last season, and he is ready to be done with the show. Not sure.

Crystal is one of the few who keeps bringing her A game though I am not a fan of hers. She just seems really snobby to me. I think Simon is grumpy is because these kids are not any good. They really picked the wrong ones and I believe he realizes that. The show has been very boring so far. They all need to pick it up and quickly.

When I saw your title I immediately thought of Michael John! lol I was like...hey! Michael John did a Queen song awesome!!! But you're right, Tim didn't do so well. I still don't think Queen songs should be Banned!! We have to hold up hope that another Michael John will come along! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nGwD2T6t8C0

I liked Michael from the start; he was sexy and he had an accent...lol But he just blew that song away. His is one of my favorite Idol performances. I also really love David Archulettas Heaven and Apologize. Yeah, I'm looking forward to the X Factor too.

That's when I fell in love with Michael during Hollywood week when he did his first Queen song. I wish he was around long enough to do a INXS song he would have been great at that as well. I will hope that someone like Michael will come along again it's just I really love Queen and those songs you have to really be able to pull them off. Or just wait for X Factor comes along.

I think Paige was worse than Tim. Although if he were sent home I'd be perfectly content. Neither is good enough to make it to the final three, or heck, the final five! And even though she was good, I didn't even like Crystal until last night. She nailed it! I also didn't think DiDi was that bad. Yes, she was playing a part that wasn't right for her, but the song had its own charm, I think.

I am pretty sure Paige is going home. Most of them were really bad last night. Not sure why they keep choosing the wrong songs. I am sure after the show the judges are scratching their heads and asking what did we see in this group? Just a bad class this year.

The young girls kept Tim alive this last week, but he's got to go soon. I can't handle much more... But then there's several I don't like, who all need to go home.

I agree with you 100%. I am not even looking forward to Idol tonight and that is sad I remember the past seasons I couldn't wait for the next week cause the talent was so good. We will get through it.

Yes. A lot of great and classic songs are just being butchered all the time. It is kind of insulting. I actually think they should sing mostly or all unknown songs. It would make it more interesting and not as ugly as the classic songs done terribly. Lol.

I tell what made Kris Allen stand out for me last year and that was when he did She Works Hard For The Money. At first before he started I thought he is going home why did he pick that song. But he made it his own and he made it current. I agree with Simon and Kara when they say if you are going to pick these classics you have to make it your own so the people at home are not thinking about the original. Another one I loved was David Archella ( i know not spelled right) when he did Imagine. I loved that it was so beautiful. It is just knowing your voice and if you can handle the song and make it your own. To many times they just pick them so they can scream the high notes instead of working on picking a song that fits them. Yes it is very insulting when they butcher a great song.

FYI guys, Tim was a replacement for the Top 24 when the real finalist was disqualified by the producers because apparently he had an existing recording contract. That's what Simon was referring to when he said "I think we made the best decision NOT to let you through the FIRST time". I agree that this is the most underwhelming batch ever. I really miss Taylor Hicks and Bo Bice. ;-) But then again, the blame might partially lay on the judges because they decided which 24 people are let through out of thousands who auditioned. And it all came down to this? No wonder why they're so frustrated. Next to Paige going home, I seriously think Tim or Andrew should go. They're just so lost in the competition. Tim trying so hard with so little talent. And Andrew desperately trying to regain that golden moment he had back in Hollywood week. I think it will do them good if they go home and find out who they really are before getting into any musical competition.

I like Taylor I know he didn't have a big superstar career but he is very entertaining. Not a Bo Bice fan. I am sure the judges are really regretting who they picked. I don't think most of them know what type of artist they want to be. How many times do these kids say I am really confused by the judges comments.
