Did you already get over the pain from your father's death?

It's been 10 years since my father passed away. It was hard for me to face the reality he was gone, but I had to. Although I managed to accept it, I could still feel the pain. I am the youngest among six siblings, and obviously I was his most favorite and I was closer to him than I was to my mother. There are still times that I long for him, I miss him so much. He is always in my heart and I always keep the pride of being his daughter.

Losing someone you love is something you never get over. It is something you learn to live with. I have lost my father 7 years ago and to this day I still feel sad about it sometimes. I have picked up with the things in life and everyday stuff. But losing my dad was such a big impact, it will be something that I will always feel the pain of.

You will never be completely over the loss of a loved one. You will always carry a special place for them in your heart. But I feel that it is important to rejoice for the person that has passed, do not weep for him as he no longer feels the pain. We cry when someone passes for our own loss not what they are losing because they are actually the ones who are gaining.
