After seeing this picture from a friend who raises sheep on a huge farm, I really don't think I can ever eat lamb again..This is one of a set of twins just born a couple of weeks ago..Is that cute or is that cute?? Happy Easter anyway, and please eat fish!!

I grew up in cattle country, so never was served lamb. I had some one time in a dish cooked at the chestnut festival we attend. I had friends who raised lambs, and had to bottle feed them sometimes. I had a hard enough time realizing that the calves I petted when visiting my grandparents would become steaks and burger, and that the chickens were good with dumplings.

sulsisels oh my yes Easter almost here but nope no lamb for me anyway even if we cannot see your great photo, will gladly eat fish, in deference to our friend Lambie here. we raised a lamb one time in town, and when they slaughtered the poor thing, and myhubby cooked the lamb, I could not eat it. I got sick to my tummy, why it wou ld be cannibalism eating a lamb who a few days before had been my pal, whom I had petted. They could laugh at me all they wanted but I could not eat a bite.
