Really strange. I have received a notification mail.

Your answer has been deleted because the question it was under was deleted.

This notification is on deletion of my answer in mylot. But the discussion and my response is still there. It is really strange.

So I am unable to understand the matter. Moreover that after receiving the notification discussion is still alive.
What is the cause of such notification mail?

Hey there are always some small glitches and errors in myLot . Well, you can expect myLot to delete the discussion in the near future - well, maybe the admin who had the deleting work, might have sent the mail first and then, she might have gone to take a coffee break forgetting to delete it!!!

Hey, I figured it out!
See, the 16th response to the discussion is by GoAskAlice - the admin herself!! life8118 has thanked her for giving back the discussion! So, the discussion was deleted really and then, as Alice wanted to respond, she restored it again!!!

It could be a bug I guess. It looks to me like your previous discussion is not only still there, but still kicking too. Maybe there was some error when they tried to delete it and the e-mail to let you know it was deleted got to you, but the discussion wasn't actually deleted. It also could be that they didn't mean to delete the discussion at all and you got the e-mail for no reason.

May be some error occurs in this. And notification mails sent to me as the discussion was deleted. But when I try to see the discussion I have responded I find that discussion. I thought that may my response id deleted. But when I check my response I have noticed that my response is there. So I got strange to see all this.

Yes the poster of that discussion clarify the matter that the discussion was restored on request of the poster. And we come to know from this that we can request the admin to consider our deleted discussion. And if admin can justify the there is the chance to regain some discussion again.
