Do you like to watch tv in your leisure time.
In my childhood when we did not have big number of channels we used to see many tv programs but today there are a big number of channels available but there is nothing i could find which can stick myself with the television. I don’t enjoy today watching tv as earlier i used to. What about you.

Well, like you we didn'y have a lot of chennels growing up. I think we had a round five channels because there was no cable connection available in the area that we lived in. But, there always seemed to be something to watch! These days we subscribe to digital cable so we have a ton of different channels. The funny thing is i rarely am able to find a show to watch. With all these channels you would think i could find something, but no, that's just not the case! What happened to all the good tv shows?

Much like you, when I was younger I watched a lot more television than I do today, but I still do have certain shows that I enjoy watching today. I would say that I average watching about 1-2 hours of television today whereas when I was a child I could easily sit down and watch television for at least six hours a day. The invention of DVR is also very nice because it means that I don't have to sit through all of the commercials.

There are a lot of different programs on the television now, and it does seem like it is harder to find something on television worth watching. I usually end up watching late night sitcoms the most. I watch The Nanny a lot as it comes on four times at night. I'll also watch a bit of George Lopez from time to time if it catches my eye!

Only in the cold, snowy days of winter. Now with spring on the way, I expect my TV watching time will be cut waaaaaay back.

i completely agree. I can't find myself a good channel most of the time either. It's like all they talk about is showbiz and news and selling stupid stuff. Although there are some movie channels that provide good entertainment.

Hi,there.I once liked to watch TV very much before I went to college.Especially in my high school time.When I was a high school student ,I had little leisure time and the study was very busy.So I put almost all my leisure time to watch TV to relax myself.But when I went to college,I found many interesting things than watching TV,for example,surfing in the internet.And now I seldom watch TV.
