Why is believing important to God????

Believing in God is important because belief is a kind of conviction. First he allows you to build your conviction, then he breaks it to see if you loose faith. If you do then he convicts you. If you do not have faith in him He would never be able to convict you.

Hello, Belief is everything. Every human relationship is standing on a belief. We believe and assume things in order to keep our relationship in a healthy condition. I don't know about hell or heaven. I have never been in either of those places. But I know one thing for sure, and that is that heaven and hell can be two different states of your mind. When you are being beaten by your conscience, you are surely going through hell. I said, 'Going through' as this phase also passes. When you are feeling pure and strong, that is when I call you are in hell. The belief in God doesn't work like those things that we usually deal with in elementary physics class. Science of matter and science of spirit work in completely different ways. In science of matter you look for evidence to support a certain theory. When you have it, you start believing in it and theorizing it. Now, science of religion or faith works rather in the opposite way. Here, you can't feel anything, can't prove anything until you believe. Why should we prove it? To increase our faith of course. To whom should do we need to prove it? Certainly to ourselves. Believing is not an issue with God, and so isn't murder, rape and extortion. God is everywhere but yet detached and indifferent. He is the wisest, yet he is beyond all wisdom. Most serious and important of discoveries is the self-discovery. What comes after this self-discovery? A true faith, and indestructible belief. Once this belief is achieved, there is no more responsibilities or obligations. A man becomes totally free and elevated from the rest of us. God bless you

Because believing in God will lead us to do the best thing because He see what we have done. And will give us some great rewards if we do the good things.

We believe that people are inherently going to hell, regardless of God. This is because people are inherently evil. We lie. We cheat. We steal. We hurt people with our words. We treat others badly. Therefore, since God is good, he must therefore be separate from evil. There is only one place that God is not. That place is known as hell. Therefore unless we fix that problem of evil, God must send us to the one place he isn't. Hell. It's not his choice. He can't not send evil away from himself. To do that would be to make himself evil. You ask that God appear, and say some stuff. Well, he did. That's what the Bible is. God's word to man. God also appeared in the form of Jesus Christ, yet men refused him too. So saying that God could just appear and say a few words, is pointless. He already did it, and still people refuse to believe. God does say that believing is important. I wager that He said that because it's important to him. Why would God say something is important, if it is not?

Hi bird, I agree, we cant really imagine who are what god is, and how much he is capable of. I just know one thing. Believing in god comes naturally to me. There are many things that I feel surprised that I could do - convincing people logically that they were wrong for instance. I too was blinded by pain and rage. But coming up with logical explanations for why I felt that pain and anger while in those moments can only be possible with god's help. Many people who feel such emotions get lost in the emotions are not able to present their view at the right time. God prevented that in my case and I feel grateful to him. God indicated to me who is not to be trusted and who is. I feel grateful to him for that as well. I feel safer with him and more confident that he will be around for me if and when I need him. It doesnt matter which god he is, whether he is male or female, or simply something magical. I dont have to understand him - its like a parent who earns and pays my school fees. I dont need to know what he does in his office, how much he draws, and how much is remaining in his checking account. I am really ok with all gods. :)

there is a reason. i think believe in god just teach you to do good only and be far from bad. believe in god does not mean to worship every time and then do many sins. i think believing in god is to follow those rules which are defined by god to be a good human. and when you really believe you follow them. and then only you could go to the heaven.

I want to make a different explanation of God. We know what is going on at present but can never know accurately what is going to happen at the next moment.We remember what happened in the past as a history. Although we know our selves ( That is what we think internally) we can not accurately know what is in others mind, however close they may be. All the living beings on the earth have the same limitations. This is the beauty of nature that make the time to role as a wheel with out revealing how it is going to role. We are all living with some hope that we will be better than at present in the future.In that process we experiment ourselves in so many ways. Some follow religion and some follow some other acceptable or unacceptable ways. What make us to do all such activities? It is not done by ourselves. What is going to happen that will certainly happen weather you do or not. By experiments , the man has become somewhat intelligent to know what is going on around us, in the universe. But still he can not change what is going to happen. But today we all know that there must be an activating device or source somewhere. We can say that this is God. This God has no beginning or end as far as we , the humans, can explain. It is beyond our capacity to explain the supernatural power. So there is no point in wasting our time to explore the 'GOD'. Let us try to believe what we can as a child trusts the Mother.This is what our forefathers might have found and tried to preach others , as a mother feeding a child. Let us go ahead as far as we can in any path that is comfortable. And our END is not in our hand. May be with the super natural power named 'GOD'

Believing in God or having faith in Him is a part of His gospel. Its very important to have faith in Him cause if we dont have faith in Him and in His teachings then it would be difficult for people to follow the things that He wants us to do. That is the first principle of the gospel, to have faith in Him. Once you have faith then it will be easy to repent of all the bad things that you did and continue believing that God has the power to take away our sins. Having faith in Him is the same as believing about the air that we breathe. Even if we dont see air, we know its there and we cant live without it. The same principles applies with God.

If you don't believe in something, it means for you it does not exist. It's the same thing with God that's why it is important to believe. Religion is another thing.

When we believe in God life is more meaningful.Our faith guides us in almost everything we do, like there are times that we are pretty much having a hard time with our lives but if we do believe in God the feeling is much more lighter,Even though we cant see him but just by feeling his presence makes us alot more peaceful and content with our lifes.Without a God in your life its impossible to achieve your goals in life, yes you may be successful but you wont be complete deep in your heart.

Religions are not new, they have been around since the beginning. Who is to say, really, that what your god wants is for you to believe in him? That strikes me as extremely Ego-manacle. I do not believe that any real god would fall into that category. But, in order to draw true faith from your god, you would have to believe in him. If you are not fully to Believe in your god, you are not truly sure of your religious beliefs.

if you ask for something you must believe that God will give it to you..just believe that there will be something happen to what you ask for..things will happen if you believe on it.

it is important to believe in GOD. god creats this world from zero. to bild this world with infinety accuresy, only GOD can do this things...you are alive b'coz of GOD. this is depends on person, there are fue preson who are not believing on god

ya it is very important to believe on god.we cant say god doesent exist.he is here onle but we are not capable to see him.It is not necessary to see him you just have to fill him like wind.you cant see wind with open eyes but you fill it.just listen your mind and run your life.just do good KARMA you will get it once a day.

This kind of freedom is necessary to man. And i don't think we should believe what our parents believe, whether it is religion and God. I think believe is pure poison. We should search the truth. We are fee we should search and discover....Belief is very simple.. discover is hard...

We must believed for our GOD because we created by him and we must be pray it!
