Are you a slave to schedule? Do you live your life by the calendar or by the clock? Do you struggle with schedules that you almost feel overwhelmed by them? Can you give me some tips? I have been struggling with my day-to-day schedule and sometimes feel pressured by them. I tend to lose focus sometimes and forget other commitments that are important.

Hi ajarvaise, Since I work from home, I did not really check my calender. I am pretty free with my time. My only fix time is send mu nephew to his extra school before 7.00am and bring him home after finish his class at 11.00 am. And I am off during week ends and school break. If I got something to do then all I need is to finish whatever works I had to finish before the deadlines. I usually ask for extra days to finish that job so I could finish it before the deadline and I can do all the necessary research before I start my works.

I envy you your flexible time and the way you can juggle your time in your hands. You're very fortunate to have this kind of schedule unlike most of us who are tied to the clock/calendar. I was thinking of working at home too, but at this point, I haven't found the right job to do it. Maybe then, if and when it happens, will only be the time I can relax and have quality time with my family and have more time to myself. Thanks for participating. :)

i think only free lancers do not have any scheduled, calender life. they can wander here and there for earning bread and butter. any employed person is always bounded by lot of constraints of time and schedule. this is the part of his bread abd butter. if an employed peerson wants to get out of it, maximum possible he can do is to get a leave for some days and go for outings. spend some quality time with your dear ones. this can let you out of frustration and u can focus on ur objectives effectively. enjoy every moment of life. listen to good music which will releave u from tensions. do use these tricks and tell me whether u r being benefited or not?

Yeah, I agree with you. Freelancers don't have an exact time for everything unlike us employed people who must always adhere to the clock and the calendar for schedule. It is a must for us to be able to keep things in order and to balance our work and family. It's what you call time management. But through the whirlwind of activities, we must get some downtime from all the stress of work and family to spend our own time in leisure to avoid emotional meltdowns like listening to music or hang out with friends. Thanks for participating.

i try to have a schedule i do every day. if the unexpected happens, i have things done. it keeps me organized to be on a schedule. if your schedule is causing you alot of stress, then take each thing and find out how you are going to do it before you do it. it will be less stressful for you. the best to you

im not the kind of person slave by my own Schedule well first be calm then if you have many things to do in a day time allotment is the best and prioritize the things that is very important cause it is the "must to do thing" then have atleast allotment for breaks it will surely helps use it to compose your self and prepare for what you should do next.

Mostly yes and sometimes no. It all depends on my mood, but I believe its always good if you have everything planned in advance. This will prevent a lot of panic in you. PS: Always have a plan B

I do not struggle with my schedules. I have a daily planer where I write all the things that I need to get done in one day with a little checkbox next to each thing. The I have my blackberry where I put in where I am goin to be each day, work, school, etc. I also have my blackberry to remind me of tests, or appointments that I have. I think you just need to find a simple way to schedule the things that you have to do. Something that won't overwhelm you. You just have to find that easy way because not everyone is the same. Maybe you should use your phone as well so that it can remind you of things if you keep forgetting.

Well, schedules or times, we generally set to have some disciplined principles in our life. Say having food at right time, sleeping at the right hours all this help you stay healthy. Rather than this dont have strict schedules and that will sure stress you up. You can even do much better without a schedule, only when you are free mind, you can do any works as per schedule. So focus with free mind.
