Richard, my cat, has escaped again. He snuck out when my assistant opened the door to let the smoke out, so the fire would stop beeping. I thought he was sleeping on the couch, but it turned out to be a neck pillow. Perhaps, he'll come back on Easter Sunday. Jesus did. Has your cat ever escaped? How long did it take for him to come back.

Oh, I hope Richard comes back, has he been out before? Gabby slipped out last night, but the other roommate found her and got her in before it was too late. She's good about staying right up by the house. Booboo likes to get out and RUN! But if you stay in the yard and talk to him, he'll come close and let you catch him. Ping also gets out, and he heads right to graze on some grass, not my first kitty grazer... But one night Nef got out and a black cat on a black night, well, I had to go look for her because she hadn't been out before. I caught her without too much difficulty thankfully.

Richard gets out every couple months. Last time he was gone for two weeks!

That's a long time. We've had some escapes and the hardest are the semi-ferals. When Star and Ronnie both escaped, well, it wasn't just them, but they were the 2 semi-ferals that got out, the roomie managed to lure Star back with food and an open window. It did take a couple of weeks to trap Ronnie. Star was out a week and lost weight, Ronnie was out at least 2 and gained it!

I've had cats, that would walk right out the front door. I can't let them just simply stay out there and hope they come back. I've been able to catch them again usually within minutes. Only once, I've had a cat slip out, and come back early the next morning. But after that, the cats are no longer allowed on the portch.

Maybe you're cat is into mating. My mother has a cat before and it used to escape our house during times when he like to mate but the good thing about my mom's cat is he knows his way home. I really hope your cat will be back home. Happy day!!!
