Do discussions under the wrong interest category get deleted?

I've been wondering about this for quite some time already. I've noticed that discussions under popular interest categories like "make extra money" get a lot of responses while the ones in less popular interests like "eating" or "cooking" get fewer replies. I was wondering if a totally irrelevant discussion like "my dog died today" was posted under "make extra money," would it get deleted? I've seen a couple of discussions under certain interest categories that don't really fit correctly and I'm wondering if it's okay.

first of all, discussions under unsuitable interest category will not be deleted. if you start an unrelated discussion in a popular category like make extra money, your discussion will get more exposure, and that's for sure. but you need to know these: 1) people who views make extra money category usually ignores unrelated discussion in that category (of course there might be some who also interested in your discussion). 2) your discussion in make extra money category can only be seen on the first page in a very short period of time (because there are so many people who starts a new discussion there). therefore, it is not a wise move at all because: 1) the exposure you are intended to get is only temporary. 2) the conversion (responses you receive) from it is very low.

What a great answer! victorywp has said exactly what I would have said had I needed to respond. You'll get the wrong eyes and you won't have them for long anyway. You are much better off posting political discussions in the politics interest, religious discussions in the religion interest, and extra-money-making discussions in the make extra money interest. Besides, posting in the interest where you have things in common with other people is a great way to make friends.

wherever you post any of your discussion, it will remain there and will not be removed. only when it is reported and the admin will get to see it with violations, that a post will be deleted.

I don't really know the answer to this one. I think maybe the Mylot Admin would do a better job answering this question. My guess would be that the discussion would get corrected and moved back to the topic discussion interest that fit it.

I think yes they can be deleted wrong category discussions.. but i think it is not fair.. because thinking any discussions is very very difficult than responding to discussions.. so it is not good that they deleted discussions.. have a nice day and keep mylotting always..

hi mylot friends Most people here are searching for money earned and how this site was closest to the way it is not surprised by the large number of responses in "make money extra" because we are speaking in Vice Admiral Fadel especially in our business and what we collect it and my money is better because we are all we need every day. Thank you and good day. TIGUER.

I would guess a such discussion would be either deleted or moved to the right category? But to be honest i dont know. I think the reasons that discussions under "make extra money" gets alot of responses because many people are on MyLot for the extra earning purpose, sadly, but true...

i think it is not good to delete them. it is better to move them either the right category of even they can put in a category named as miscellaneous. and this is a better treatment rather than deleting them. what ever i think people commit mistakes and they do here too.

I don't know if it'll get deleted. I've posted on one and it was in the wrong interest and until now i haven't got any notification that it got deleted. I guess it won't be.
