age is just a number! it doesn't or at least shouldn't matter as long as the people involved are happy. I'm 59 y/o and very much involved with a man thats 34 y/o...we couldn't be happier!

I don't think it should matter at all unless one of the person's are under age. My greatest age difference in a relationship was double my age.

I think it's not about the age difference, but about the maturity in that age. Eventough in big gap but they could maintain their relationship. It would works..

I don't think age is a criteria in a relationship. It's the age and maturity of the mind that matters. You can be how young or old you want to be. So, chronologically if their age difference is 20-30 years but mentally they are the same age or close, I guess they are going to be happy. Even if that's not the case and the couple are happy with the age difference or it doesn't really matter to them, why should we really bother?

Well, i think one should be happy in a relationship. and not too say an argument every once in a wile is not bad. if everything was to be perfect in every relationship, then why do people get divorced? Communication is the best way to stay in good arms with your loved ones. Understanding and been there for one another. Its a give and take relationship, not just taking. Then thing would not work out.

I think age doesn't matter. My husband is 13 years older than me and we are very happy. Before I met him, I too considered that it has to be a 3-4 years differance between the parteners, but I now know that I was wrong. Age doesn't matter at all.

Generally they should be of the same age or with a difference of maximum 3 years. This is because a generation gap makes life difficult for the couple .what I mean to say is the person who is older would have passed the stage the younger oneis in .

if everyone is happy why rock the boat. What matters is that the couple in the relationship should be happy. However I feel there should be an age difference as boys take longer than girls to mature. And boys tend to get married later in life as compared to girls. But thats how i feel.
