What Topic Do You Use When You Talk to A new Friend in Chat Room

Well sometime, when you are in the room, u can send a private message to them and then move on to chat for only the two of you. If the situation is like that, what topic do you usually talk about? What kind of conversation that you start? Tell me an example of the conversation. The conversation is beside man to woman. Ok thanks for your help.

Well i would talk about their interests, if its musiq i would discuss more on that.

Oh i see, well that is good. If they want to talk about music, what kind of sub topic that i can make. What details that i can talk about. Also, what happened if i have no idea about the music that they talking about. ( IF their music is different the music that i like ). Thanks for sharing it with us my friend.

I like to talk to someone that I've just met about our lives. How they are the same, how they are different:
Me: "So what do you do for a living?"
Them: . . .
Me: "And how do you like to spend your free time?"
Them: . . .
This is usually enough to break the ice and from there the conversation starts to flow.

O i see, well it is a good example. But what will happened if you talk so much and you feel that you and him / her still not really connected. Or maybe your lives is really different from the new guy you found on the chat room? If that kind of thing happened, what are you gonna do? Do you stop chatting and search for another person, or you still try to get connected. Thanks for replying.

o i c, so you talk about love and life. Is it ok for you to talk about that to a total stranger. Also, about life, what actually you talk about. Because it really are a very wide topic. I think it will be good if you can talk about it more. And i agree with you, when we are chatting, time fly really fast. Before we realize it, it already hours. Thanks for responding.
