The new Messi...ah! - How to contrast him ?

The new Messi...ah - Lionel Messi

Hallelujah! Yesterday I've seen the new Messi(ah) teaching soccer lessons to the poor Arsenal Pharisees in the Temple of Barcel...lonia! This player deserves all compliments and veneration. In my opinion, he's really the new phenomenon, better than Kaka, Ronaldo, Rooney and company. Each of the 4 goals scored yesterday may fit in a religious soccer Gospel that all supporters should read on Sunday before starting their via crucis to their stadium. I now believe in a superior being able to make miracles! His name is... Lionel Messi! It will be very difficult for Inter to beat Barcellona with this player, but I'm confident Mourinho will find a way to contrast Messi and the team, maybe by playing very aggressively as done with Chelsea. Is it possible to avoid Messi playing that way?

It was a very good match to see. Barcelona are where Arsenal want to see themselves. Barcelona showed that cute passing is not enough, you need to back it up with individual dribbling and vision and the final strike. Messi was brilliant in front of the goal. For the first goal, I did not see where he had the space to pack so much punch into the shot. It was a sublime finish. Contrast that with the chance that Bendtner had when his extra touch allowed the defender to clear the ball. I think Arsenal are years behind Barcelona in that aspect. But it was fun to see the match as a neutral who loves both teams. Cheers! Ram

Incredible powerful shot indeed and a lot of fun too! I love to see good soccer and usually I'm neutral too (but only when AC Milan doesn't play). I was hoping in a Barca victory since I'd like to see the Barca-Inter semis, with Ibrahimovic and Eto'o struggling on the opponent sides and Gabri Milito against his brother Diego Milito. And of course to see how Mourinho can avoid Messi from scoring...

It should be billed as the Talent vs. Strategy. Talent on the Barcelona side and strategy on the Inter side. Should be another rollicking tie-up!! Cheers! Ram
