If your dogs could speak, what questions would you ask them?

I would ask my dog about his previous life - his old owners, his time in the shelter, his parents. I'd ask why he seems so scared all the time, whether something happened or whether it's just how his is. I'd ask whether he knows just how many half-eaten chews he has at the bottom of his crate (lol). I'd also ask if I made him happy.

Cleo, my 6 year old maltese x shih tzu, I'd ask: *What was life like before you were rescued by Companions 4 Life animal shelter. *What was it like at the animal shelter *Why were you scared of everything when I first adopted you *Why wouldn't you eat the first 3 days that I adopted you *Why did you think it was hilariously funny to pee on the bed for the first year I had you. *Have you been happy with me for the past 5 years that I've had you *If you had a choice, what's your most favourite food of all time that you'd like for dinner (and don't say prawns.. I know you like these but I can't afford them!) *Are you happy that I adopted Opal Opal, my 11 year old maltese x shih tzu I'd ask: *What was life like before you were rescued by NSW Animal Rescue *How many litters did you end up having before you finally had that operation. *Were you happy at the animal shelter after your rescue *Were you happy that I adopted you last year *Are you happy living with Cleo *If you could choose anything you wanted to eat all the time, what would that be To both I'd also ask: Does it really tickle you when I give raspberries on your tummy or under your arms When I play wrestle you, do you enjoy it, or do you find it upsetting Is there any place you like me to walk you to Do you prefer riding in the pram, or do you prefer walking ...I think that's it. :)

I'd also ask Opal: Why don't you like kissing humans?

One more thing.. Opal has a kink in her tail. I'd ask her what happened with that.. how she got the kink, does it hurt her, would she like me to take her to a vet to get it straightened (it was there when I adopted her)

Our dogs fight most of the time but they just growl at each other. A few days ago, they fought but this time they physical hurt each other. They were bleeding after the fight cause they bit each other. And that's the questions that I wanted to ask them, the reason why they fought and why it they ended up wounded. I am always curious about the reason why they always fight. I want to knot why so we can do something about it.

since I was a kid, this is one thought I've been wishing that dogs could talk.. I grew up having dogs in my family, and being an only girl and the youngest, there were times I feel a bit lonely with no one to play with, so I usually hang out with our dogs, play with them and when I got tired, I sit beside them and just talk anything and at the same time wishing they will respond to me... I even had this dream once that my dog, chico talked to me... and it was just so weird, 'coz every time I talk to him I usually say it in a high pitch, like talking to a baby, and in my dream, his voice was exactly like that... I was asking him if he knows where did our house keeper went, and he was giving me answers and we were just like conversing like normal... that was one of my bizarre and funniest dream... but I still wish dogs can talk, and if ever they can, I would ask them anything, just anything under the sun, sky is the limit, just like having a normal conversation with a bestfriend.. one question I would ask is "why do you hate cats?", what do you think about the animated movie "all dogs go to heaven"?

I would ask a dog what are the things that would make him happy.I would ask him how much he really loves his master.I would ask him how he feels when, sometimes, his master forgets about him.I would ask him how he feels when he is left at home alone while his master is at work.I would ask him how he feels when strangers come into his master's house.

I'll ask him how is he doing, is he hungry, does he want to play, all the stuff that he usually does so i won't have to worry anymore. I'll also talk to him about stuff so I'll know better about dogs.

I have had several dogs from the big breed to the small breed. Probably asking, "How come you get excited each day when i am around?" Just curious of what makes them happy just me being around.
