GREAT movie. It's very sad at times but really a great and happy drama.

I thought the "Pianist" was a great movie. Adrien Brody did a fine job as Wladyslaw Szpilman. It was such a sad story as are all movies of this type. It makes you wonder what on earth is wrong when people can act as the Germans did at that time. If you liked the "Pianist" you might like "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas". I was surprised at the ending. You also might like the "Exodus" made in the 60's Part of it also took place in Warsaw. It is how a few children survived when the Germans put all the Jews in the ghetto of Warsaw.

heheh i like that movie but is a long time ago that i saw that movie i cant remember when. its a very sad movie indeed especially the character who transfers from one place to another and hides. i really cried when the main character was left by his family.. i am grateful that our world today has less war compared from before.. I was wondering if that story was a true story?
