You are able to remember to buy everything you need without to have list to you? You remember birthdays of all your family members or friends? Do you remember phone numbers, what you have to do tomorrow? or you're holding more events that happened many years ago, without remember what to do in an hour? Are you a forgetful person? Or you have an elephant memory?

hi, I'm not a forgettable person. I can remember phone numbers, vehicle numbers very easily. But sometimes I forget some works, it depends on that time. Its not often. I forget some works very rarely. Happy Mylotting :)

Hi there Ice Smile. I must say that in general i have a very good long term memory, but when it comes to short term memory - not so much. For instance i am fairly sure that i will forget names if you give me to many at once of new people and i might take a while in learning all, but after i do it is unlikely for me to forget them.

My memory is actually really good. i sometimes joke around by saying that i have half a photographic memory. And its true, most of the time i can remember anything by glancing at it but i cant seem to remember when i am told something. I gues you could say i am more a visual person then oratory and it is shown through my ability to memorize things by looking instead of listening.

I am a very forgetful person and the worst thing is--same my husband is! I always came back from the supermarket and then notice that I forget to buy something I really should buy. Then I decided to write a shopping list. The problem is that i forget the shopping list the next time I went to shopping...well, you see how bad I am!

I'm more mentally clumsy and absent-minded as I am physically not to mention the fact that I can't think straight whenever i'm around family members or people that are annoying and interruptive of my concentration. I can't keep up with some things. Like yesterday when I realized I can't find my freaking food stamp card! I thought my mother had it, but neither of us had it! I thought I had it, but I just don't! Also, I thought I lost my brand-new hard drive last month when I felt tired. I don't do well or think well when i'm sleepy or irritated by others. So no, when i'm by myself I can think more clearly, but when i'm near others, my mind gets so confused and muddy it's hard to think about what to do next. As I said, I lost my food stamp card on Spring Break week because i'm around emotional vampires that interrupt my concentration and cause my mental clumsiness. However, I do hold SOME memories, but not of the good kind. I keep the bad kind though because of the bullcrap i've been through, and the bad memories outweigh the good memories in me, so that's what I CAN remember at all.

I have always had a good memory. Forgetfulness has not been a problem to me. I am usually the member of the fsmily who has to keep track of names, dates, places and events. Nobody else seems to remember these things.

Hi, ice.... if the list is more then 10.. then it's really matter. We i am not much memoryable man. I think only 40 of my memory is using. we can make our memory great.. there are some ideas... now a days i heard and see there are capsule to increase your memory...i don;t know that works or not... i think those companies are making money... people like to increase memory power specially students... it must be a genious mind to remember many more things of the past.... the brain or body is made in such a way there will not be burden into your minds.. so there is options to forget things.. little by little... if we going to remember all the things from the past..there must be tense in the brain.. where are those feelings stored... talking about memory card...there are more stored memory cards are available. yeah there are some extraordinary person, who have such kinds of capasity... but not in every things.. some are great in mathmatics.. and some are great in philosophy... like that... -vine.

Hi icesmile, I consider myself having a good memory. Not that sharp, but good. I remember the birthdates of my friends and loved ones, and I have a knack of remembering what happened in the past, it's actually driving my boyfriend crazy,LOL. But I have to admit, having a "to-do" list and a calendar full of notes helped me a lot to remember things.

hi icesmile, with so many things in my head, i can be very forgetful nowadays. i tend to forget my children's birthdays, i can't remember phone numbers and lots of other stuff. the good thing is the cellphone is always around to remind me. i do have schedules, appointments written and pasted all over the house.

I am not that forgetful especially when it comes to special days like birthdays, anniversaries, etc. of love ones. When buying everything I need, I don't usually bring a list with me on the actual purchase, but I always make sure I'll plan them ahead like few minutes before leaving the house to keep them in my mind, but of course my memory sometimes doesn't work 100 percent perfect, especially when getting older. I noticed lately, that I am getting some mental blocks in few seconds, but only when I am preoccupied.

my memory's kind of weird. i always remember 'junk' things, like the things i don't really have to remember. like until now, i still remember a certain page from my school book when i was 10 (7 years ago), or the name of someone that i have to kiss when i was 5 because my mother made me. but i don't remember the things that i have to remember. like when my friend told to bring something that i borrowed, i always forgot, even if she sends me a text before. so i don't know whether i have good memory or not :P

I am never good at remembering things and the worse is not able to remember my own 10 digits cell phone number. Maybe aging has taken its toll on this depleting memory.

hello ice, am getting very forgetful nowadays. that is why i always have a pen and paper everytime the boss calls. it is no longer easy for me to memorize. i hope there is something i could do with this problem. i know age has something to do with it, but i see older people with much better memory than i am. so i hope i know their secrets to be able to maintain or at least enhance again my memory. have a nice day. ann

I have a pretty good memory, remember phone numbers, names, people, but when it comes to memory I remember I did a few days ago i am forgetful, so I have visual memory, have long-term memory, but quickly forget what I have been up shortly after ... old age is to blame

Well, I don't know how to answer this question. My memory always changed .It's good in the moring but rather bad in afternoon especailly I didn't take a nap.And I feel good memory in a period and then it goes bad.The most sick thing is that I always remember things needn't to remember and forget the important things. It makes me crazy sometime.
