As you might have noticed, the price of a PC game is not so cheap these days. You can't blame the makers for the high prices as the cost they bear to give us a good gaming experience is real high. The second part of Call of Duty's Modern Warfare series' production cost was around 50million$. They need their profit's don' they? So as games price increases do you consider the option of downloading them illegally from the internet or buying copies from illegal dealers?

I don't bother with the illegal options of obtaining the games. If I can't afford it I simply don't get it. Time is more valuable to me than a game is. Got too much going on right now to think about gong back to gaming with a clear mind.

yes videogames price is really expensive nowadays espeially when they lauch a new game i saw prices really high for a videogame probably the gam piracy exists because the price in many cases is exaggerated and so many people searching for different solutions so especially on pc platform the illegal market grow up every year in relation to the most popular but even expensive games!!

I agree game prices can be ridiculously high these days. I don't do consoles at all, so i get away lighter than some. Last game i bought from a shop was FM2010 and at £34.99 it was expensive. I prefer to play a demo to get a feel for the game and then decide whether its good enough to buy. Sometimes i get PC games as presents for birthday/xmas. In the main i'm happy to stay a year or so behind releases and pick them up second-hand from ebay.

There is enough legitimate free stuff to download and play that I don't feel a need to search out pirated downloads. There are also cheaper versions of many games, such as the steam $5 sales, that let you get legal downloads that are cheaper since they don't need to pay for shipping, storage, retail profits etc. With those and the free to play games I am out of free time so don't need to look twice at more expensive options any more.

it is not illegal to download games online. there are many games online that have been released for free and they are all legal. but it also depends on what games you are trying to download.
