How many of you hang any of your clothes outside to dry? When I was growing up we didn't have a dryer, just a washer. Every time we did laudry, all year long even in the winter, we had to take them outside and hang them on a line to dry. Now I DO have a dryer, but I sill will often take my clothes and hang them on a line outside to dry. I especially do this with my heavy quilts and other bed covers that are large and take a long time to dry in the dryer.

We only have a washer, so all our laundry will be hang outside to let it dry. My parents dont want to purchase a dryer because it consume alot of electricity. Especially now we are experiencing a shortage on electricity so we just let it hang and dry it outside.

Dryers DO use a lot of energy. That is why I hang clothes that would take a LONG time to dry.

That's just the disadvantages of hanging our clothes outside. It takes long for us to used it again or sometimes it takes a while before it will dry. But at least we are helping our environment right

Like the city I live, I think so dusty is another disadvantage of hanging out clothes, if it is not the problem, I'd rather like to hang out clothes instead of using a dryer. As it is a more natural way to dry our clothes and more importantly it's also much more eco-friendly.

When I was young and I still lived with my parents, we didn't have a dryer and we would hang the clothes inside the house and not outside. Now, I still don't have a dryer and I still hang clothes inside, I think in this day, air pollution is very serious, and it is quite dusty outside(I live in a crowded city), therefore, I am fond of hanging clothes inside instead of outside.

We would never have enough room to hang laundry inside our house. Especially the large quilts and blankets I usually hang outside.

I hang my clothes out site to dry, because i don't have a dryer.I have a washing machine,an when i take out the clothes they are half dry. I love to hang the clothes out.....when i was growing up i did not know what was washing machine. because then i would have to wash the clothes with my hands, and hang them on the line to dry. Now that i a washing machine, i only wash small clothes with my hands.
