Questions & Answers

I see lots of discussions where people ask something in myLot every single day. In fact, I guess about half of all the discussions posted here are questions :D So my question (see, a question :D) is: are you the one posting them or the one answering them? Have you gotten good responses to some questions that really mean something to you (problems in life etc.)? I'm personally more of the type of people who answer the questions/discussions and rarely make own discussions. My long experience in GPT sites makes me able to answer many questions about the second most popular (if not the most popular) topic here in myLot; making money online. I'm always happy to help :) I sometimes find it frustrating when all of the new discussions posted are completely useless and uninteresting, I really don't bother answering them. In those situations I might come up with my own idea for a discussion, just to have something to do :D

I guess you are asking a question now Vikky.....:)....Well,just like you,I like responding to posts more than starting one on my own.I don't generally start a discussion just for the sake of it.I start one only when something interesting(to me) strikes my mind all of a sudden. So I don't think to start a discussion. For me,it happens by itself. On the other hand, answering questions is fun, that is,if you got an answer...:)..It feels great when someone rates your post as positive or tells you that your comment was helpful. So the quality of a response has got a lot to do with the quality of question that is asked. Thanks to all My Lotters who come up with interesting queries to evoke a worthy response...:)

vikkyd I mostly respond but to some questions I have to learn the hard way as I know they were iffy and most had broken one or two mylot rules,so got five notices. it would help if more new people would just read the damned rules instead of asking questions that mylot has answered in their Q and A.s. when they do this they are automatically deleted and there go my earnings too. so w hy not e veryone read all the information and know the rules, then keep from breaking them. I do not think all the new discussions are useless, my you are picky and uninteresting but then if the only reason you are here is to make more money I guess plain ordinary things like family problems, relationship problems are boring to you. me I enjoy mylotting myself and find plenty of interesting topics, not of making on line money as thats pathetic, get a real on land job, the internet willnot ,make you anything but peanuts. half the questions asked here are the ones that are deleted. that give you an idea that we all should know the rules?

Yeah, I also often get frustrated by the amount of discussions that break the rules or when somebody asks something that's clearly stated on the rules, FAQ's and pretty much all over the site... From those discussions I get the feeling that either people making those discussions just post anything that comes to their mind or are just plain stupid :D And actually real life problems interest me, the discussions I don't like are those stupid questions and discussions like "I just ate some bread. Have you ever eaten bread?" I came here to make money but I still want to have some kind of a standard for the questions I answer, I don't want to force myself to write anything and if I only answer truly interesting and good discussions, I will never have to write anything stupid to get paid :) Btw, nice post count, how long have you been on myLot? ;)

I don't agree. I been a member of mylot for five months now. And I seldom encounter questions threads. Almost all of the threads I read is base on personal experience or current news and events. Just visit the site often and you will realize that theirs more threads that is worth joining in.

I visit the site every day :D I know that not nearly all discussions are about questions but a good amount are... There are indeed lots of good discussions but there are lots of bad ones as well... I guess that on average there is one really good discussion posted every half an hour or so...

It's a smart discussion, Vikkyd. I am posting many more responses than discussions. I posted at least two discussions to solve an immediate problem, and got really good responses from two members. I am involved in GPT since four years, and I have found here some members with more experience than myself who are giving everyday good advice and helped me. MyLot questions are not useless, but they can be uninteresting when they come again everyday : I'm an upgraded member at Neobux since more than one year and I don't reply now, except for a beginner friend. It is useful for other members to share your own ideas in a discussion when you are giving a response : even if they -- we, I -- are not answering to your discussion, they are listening you and are taking care of your advice. Have a nice myLot day !

Thanks, I think so too, otherwise I wouldn't have posted this discussion :D 4 years of GPT experience?! That's nice :D Have you tried renting refs in NeoBux after buying premium?

I usually post responses since I get so tired reading the responses of the discussions I post because they usually say the same things. I find it boring and tiring to read other people's responses on my discussion, I'd rather post discussions and expressing how I feel or know about a certain topic.

That's actually a pretty good reason to answer discussions ;) I can assure you, your english sounds just fine, at least to a non-native english speaker like me :D
