Can Facebook Be Hacked?

I was surprised when my friend called me this morning to tell me that her facebook account was hacked. I did not know that was possible. I thought facebook is a secured site and I was thinking like, "What would the hacker get from hacking a facebook account?" Have you ever experienced this? Is it really possible for facebook to be hacked? Please share your opinion on this...

Maybe. If it was a good hacker then the answer is YES! Facebook cant do anything about this if there are a lot of more smarty people than they are. We just only have to always change the password I guess?

Is there such a thing as a 'good' hacker in this context? A proficient one, maybe! Most people, however, have little idea of what a secure password is and how to keep it secure. If your password for every site you use is "bunnikins64" or the name of your pet it is not going to be very long before your account is hacked!

Any website can be hacked. It depends on the way the site is set up. Facebook is a prime example of a website that could be hacked. There are several vulnerabilities that they need to patch, however facebook is fairly secure by many standards.

Of course Facebook too can be hacked. I won't ever trust any site so much to ask this this question! From my personal experience, my login was denied and when I requested for password recovery, they obliged. Funny enough no mail ever reached my inbox so I could reset the password. Next thing I know is I tried to recreate the account with same email address,... and it succeeded! Now there are two accounts having same id. I can always access new one, and sometimes old one too... My conclusion: facebook is a JOKE!

anything can be hacked, if your not careful about keeping your passwords in a safe place or not picking a password that can't be easily guessed then you will be hacked. Facebook is a safe website
