Maybe it's last December I watched the 3D Movie "Avatar". Honestly, it's the most amazing movie I ever watched. The beautiful image of Pandora, the beautiful story, the beautiful Navi people...It's not strange that the income of this movie surpass the Titanic's. So, let's talk about this movie. How do you think this movie? Which part gave the greatest impression? Do you think it start a new age of movie history?

I also saw it in 3D. The graphics were good, sure. But about halfway through it dawned on me that I had seen this movie before. A disney film called Pocahontas. I find it disappointing that the director did not give more credit to his very obvious influences. I still would have appreciated this movie if it had been called something more along the lines of Avatar: A Modern Take On A Classic Tale. No disrespect to the people who worked on this movie; they did a great job. But the fact remains that it is a recycled storyline with new graphics.

Mezulu: Maybe I have to check the movie Pocahontas what you just said. I just checked it through the internet, it seems a old film which is made in about 1995. It must be a beautiful story. I will watch it in DVD. In fact, most of the great films have the similar story, more or less.

I admit that the movie has a great graphic. But, I think the story is not that twisting. But, overall, it's really worth it! Cheers!

Yes, I also think it is very worthful. My friend spent almost 2 hours in order to buy the tickets, it's too popular for this movie then. But I think the story is also interesting and lots of meaning. The scene is totally out of our common imagination. The most important, I can feel much sprit of Franklin Roosevelt( the US president), who will not surrender to his phiscal diability and lead US people overcome the difficulties to rise from 1931 global economic crisis. Thie movie also shows us the original human beings wishes of harmony with nature.

a great movie. definitely a must-see. unfortunately, i haven't seen this on 3D. i know i'm such a loser for not having spent a good amount of dough for a good movie. the biological interconnection of the living beings in Pandora is amazing. see them as flash drives. LOL. plug and play. i've seen the making of this movie and they obviously put a lot of work in this. i must say hard work is definitely and highly appreciated. james cameron is a movie genius. the world created by james surpasses all other made-up worlds by other movies. i just wished i had the chance to interact with it by seeing it 3D. though there are passive scenes in the middle of the movie, the action at the latter part made up for it. this movie already has set a standard in movie making, specifically in the creative and visual effects department. i can't wait for a movie that would beat avatar. hope it shows during my lifetime :)
