in every relationship, LDR or not.. it takes two to tango. so i guess if you REALLY want it to work.. then maybe you just have to give a lil extra effort to communicate .. and trust each other even if you guys are miles apart! gluck on the relationship :)

I think ur right...we talk everyday online, emails and on the phone and we are always honest with eachother and there is always trust between us so I think we have an excellent chance for it to last.

Long distance relationships can be maintained by regularly keeping in touch through phone calls, letters, e-mails and faxes. You can also send your recent photographs. Sending present gifts and presents will help. Try to be honest in all your conversations.

so far ive been with people online and it can be good but also can be bad as you yearn for the closeness so much.if you are both open and honest it makes things easier ive been with one person on and off for 3 years so far

I witnessed 3 long distance relationships, one has ended up with marriage and relocation one is still going strong for 2 years and they met 4 times during this period and the 3d has failed, i would say it depends on the persons involved and how hard they want it and if they are ready to accept sacrifices, I would also say they should have a clear view about their future and what they are planning to do, it can't go on for ever as LD, people really need to be with each other to have a real relationship.
