Your opinion: Obama

How is everyone feeling about Obama right now? Do you agree with his policies/decisions so far into his presidency? Do you trust the President? Would you vote for him again? My whole deal with Obama is the shroud of mystery. He's from Kenya, or Hawaii, or what? All we are told about our current wars is that we are killing terrorists, that's pretty vague. I feel like the only thing we know about Obama is that he gives good speeches.

I do not have anything to do with where he is from. All I know is that America's economy needs to go up a little and unemployed people need new jobs. I like some of the new bills he passed, but I am against immigration reform because it means flooding the country with more people when Americans themselves are still stuggling with their lives. But yes it is true that he definitely is a sign of peace now. During bush's time, everything was filled with hatred. It was more like a nightmarish tale from Dr.s Seuss book. Things are somewhat better now. The kind of mess Bush left will take some time to get cleaned up. Obama has a lot to do. It will take 10years for the housing market to start doing better again.

He is a symbol of peace? He sent an additional 30,000+ soldiers to Afghanistan, and more than double the U.S. soldiers are now at war compared to when Bush left office. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a Bush supporter, I just think in order for us to know Obama better, we must consider factual things.

Just be thankful the US has Obama for President. He is like a breath of fresh air for a country that was drowning in adversity. Thank God the Bush years are over! The world needs more leadership like Obama! As a Canadian I couldn't vote for Obama, but I would-have if I could-have! Whats it matter where he was born (for God's sake?) Just be glad he was born, and not to proud to take on the mess that is the USA!

I don't understand why Bush is never impeached. He lied to American people like crazy and we are letting him get away with that. It is funny that people were protesting against Obama's health care reform, but no one says anything against the fact that we are paying $2billion everyday to China. Who started it? Bush. Obama can't really do anything about this.

Hi Zurijak, I am sorry to hear what happened with you. Me and my sister are in the same position. She tried going for the government program though, but it is too much of a hassle. If there is an emergency case she has to go to general hospital where it takes whole to meet the doctor. And also this hospital is three cities away. This bad the old system is!

I have no opinion. I'm glad he is in office but That's it. He is pro choice and that's all that matters to me.

I didn't vote for him before. So far he has broken almost every promise he made in the campaign. He is trying to take the country down a very socialist path. He is all for big government supporting everyone which eventually leads to a high dependent population that has a feeling of entitlement and that feels there is no reason to work or to try to get ahead in life.

Wasn't much of an Obama supporter to begin with. I don't have any hate for Obama, but I don't agree with his decisions and the fact he is breaking his promises. On a side note, I get to say "I told you so!" to former Obama supporters who are now against his decisions and complain about him everyday. (I wouldn't be a complete jerk and say something like that, but just an interesting perspective)
