Would you go to the movies on a first date? :-D

Not this - watching movies

Well, I realized that that's not my ideal first date scene. I'd rather have long walks and just talk to him even when we're just at a random place or a theme park haha. I'll probably reserve the movie tickets for next time. What's your ideal first date scenario?

My ideal first date would be to dine out, which what was agreed upon during our first date. Sometimes spontaneity is preferred by the other, but whatever the location or event as long as everyone is happy and would imprint the personality to each other is an ideal date. It may not be logical, but it is often true.

I'm not a very logical person either; I'm very spontaneous, so I so agree with what you said. Thanks for the response!

Movie is a bit lame because you just sit there and don't know what to. However i did go to the cinema on first date twice and the second time i met my girlfriend and we are together for almost two years now. Funny thing is that you mentioned long walks...when we finished watching the movie we could go on bus but i had a bit crazy idea if we would walk to the train station (a few kilometers) and she said yes. We walked and got to know each other and we are happy

I like long walks because it's fun for me. I've had a lot of them with my friends before and it didn't feel like we're tired walking at all. Anyway, that'd be sweeter if you held her hand LOL.

yes i will.. actually i think i already have gone to the movies on a first date... it was just a date with a friend - i did not know that this person kinda liked me at all so i did not consider that as something awkward back then...

Well that's fine if that wasn't a romantic date.

Hi mjcookie, I agree with you on this. I think a first date should be spent getting to know each other. Going to the movies kind of holds that up.

Cheap? Well not really. Maybe not creative or romantic enough for a first date.

Here in our country, it is an usual way to do so. Many of my friends started their date in the theater.
