Can any body tell me where is the Powai lake in mumbai and how to reach there

Take a local train from CST. IT should be in the central line.YOu have to get down at Vikhroli.From there you can take an autorickshaw and go to Powaii. Now I do not know the exact distance to the lake.All that I know is once when I had to go to IIT campus, I wen to Vikroli and from there I took an auto there.
Train is the fastest .If you take a taxi it is not only expensive it is also time consuming because there is every chance of getting blocked in the traffic.
I also do not now any other shortcut. I feel that after going to Powai it would becoME easier to make your way to the lake.If you can wait for a day more , I will let you know in the evening because my daughterinlaw goes to Powaii everyday to Hirannadani .

Thanks for the best response.It should easily take more than an hour to reach from CST to Vikhroli.Take a fast train and perhaps you may reach there in 45 minutes , but if it is a slow local then it would be longer.And after getting down there you should also go to the lake and the waiting time and availability of a bus/rickshaw at Vikhroli station must be taken into account.That may take nearly or less than halfan hour.I am writing all thIS as a rough estimate keeping the traffic in mind and with caution.
If you are planning to attend an interview or so, err on the safe side.
