We are Lutheran. ELCA Lutheran for those it makes a difference to. I know there are many, many, Christian sects out there and their own variations of each. Which are you? Does it make a difference in the long run or are we essentially the same?

I think if you talk to someone who is very into their 'sect' then which was which would be very important to them. Like the 'born again christians' who like to spout about their beliefs. I am an agnostic and I question the interpretation of the scriptures and have alot of questions.

You might be interested in finding some printings of recently translated versions of the ancient Greek and Hebrew versions of the Bible. Since they have not been filtered through centuries of translation and modernization it is amazing to see how much was lost, changed and or warped.

I'm a Seventh-Day Adventist (SDA). We keep or follow God's commandments, all of the Ten Commandments. God said "If you love me, keep my commandments". Other Christian sects fail to understand this. The Bible has warned us that in the last days, a man (or an organization) will change the law, particularly the law about Sabbath. It is written in the Bible, "Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy". Now, they changed the day of worship from Saturday to Sunday, from Seventh-day of the week to the first day of the week. In most calendars, Sunday is the first day of the week and Saturday is the seventh. But check out the Jews and the descendants of Israel, what's their seventh-day? It is still Saturday! Even language will speak... Sabbath in Latin is Sabbatum which is Sabbatir in Greek, Sabado in Spanish, and Saturday in English.

You can be whatever you like, I however am a Christian... something that my Catholic girlfriend sometimes seems to find hard to understand, it is possible to be a Christian without pidgeon holeing yourself and I believe that God would rather we were this way than set ourselves up for internal bickering, or restrict ourselves to one way of life.
