American Idol's American Idol Gives Back gives money to Pro Abortion groups

I didn't know where to put this, but this is what I have learned: American Idol's American Idol Gives Back gives some of its money to pro abortion groups. You can find the story at Drudge.com, under the picture of Simon Cowell. It's up to the individual where they want to give their charity money to. If you don't have a problem with Abortion, that's fine. I just thought some people might like to know about this, because it's news to me. Not everybody believes in the same things. But I think American Idol should be upfront about where all its money goes. So far, they only show people in indigent countries getting mosquito nets and food. They should be upfront about all the things they fund.

I never even knew that the show gave to charity, I thought it was just another commercial reality show and never watched it.
I agree that organizations should tell people what their contributions are being used for. I would be horrified if I gave money to a place and later found out it was used to kill babies.

Me too. I don't have a problem with Contraceptives, and educating people about reproduction and so forth. Abortions shouldn't be funded by charities, no matter what you personally think about such things, just as governments shouldn't fund them. I've never given to American Idol Gives Back, and I don't plan to now.
