Although my mom is not on earth for a long time, I thank God for preparing a mother who didi all her best to protect me and raised me up with all her effort. She was not well-educated but a very social person. She always cooked some good food for me and I especailly enjoyed her fried chicken wings with ginger souce to prepare it.I couldn't find any fried chicken wings made cooked like the way she cooked anymore and I don't know how to cook it myself. Therefore I can only remember her cooking style in my memory.I thank God for my mother because I was raised up with love ,although not from a rich family. And the background I had prepared me to better understand the poor family much easier in nowadays world. If my mom still alive,I would definately tell her that I love her.Something I have never told my mother before. What about you ? Share with us if you have some positive experience.

I constantly thank God for my mother. She was widowed when I was 14 years old, my brother was 12 years old and my sister was 8 years old. Though there was a period of time shortly after my father passed away that we lived our lives in autopilot, after a short period of time she was able to come around. She showed me that a woman could be a strong person. I love the fact that she could show me that. In addition to that, I was able to learn to be a mother and also a cook from the example that she set for me.

Hello,Doran.it is good to have a mom like yours who always set up a good example for all the kids in your family.I think it is not easy to be a human at all since we are all living in a fallen world. It is even harder to be a mother and be strong even when difficulties are just always there.Well,I think we surely need to thank God for all the moms in this world since mother's day is approaching.I hope that all children can treat thei mother with all their love and thank their mother with action .A flower?....No... A bunch of flower.Have a good day.

Absolutely. I will always be thankful to God for having a wonderful mom. She's been a mom and a dad to all of us. dad's been working abroad to provide us a better life. mom was a retired Biology teacher. she decided to stop working to take good care of our needs. she wakes up early in the morning to prepare breakfast. she's a very good cook. she cooks appetizing filipino dishes such as sinigang, menudo, afritada, steak, ginataan and a lot more, she always make sure that the house is clean, etc... i love my mom, i really do! :)

We should than God each and every day for our mothers. Mothers should be honored all the year round, not just on Mother's Day. You are not born into this world without your mother. You owe everything you are and hope to be to her. Happy Mother's Day to all mothers everywhere!

I'm not so sure. And if you knew my mom, you'd know why. I thank god for giving me a mother so I'm here, but not really the mom that I have. 6 years ago I would of definitely thanked him, but my mom changed and shes not really a good parent at all. She got really sick with depression, and 6 years of it, it kind of gets old. Still today she still has it and all her parents talk about is how when they die, I'm suppose to take care my mom. She never took care of me during my childhood so now I'm suppose to take care of her? Either that or the nursing home is always an option.

Of course. I will always be thankful for my mom. Though she could be really scary at times, she's also very caring. She's not really sweet or showy, but I can feel that she really cares for us through her own simple ways. =)

Although I was raised by my grandmother, I'm thankful my mother brought me into this world. I will always remember her for the great macaroni and cheese she cooked before she became disabled. I will always remember her strength because she didn't take any stuff from anybody. And she was very pretty.

Even if I am not closed to my mother, I thank God for that He as given a mother that as good as she can be and for giving me a chance to live in this world. My mother is not so affectionate about her love to me. Even if I am not her favorite son, I still love her for what she is. Sometimes, we have a some confrontations but always we come up with some light moments in the end.
