Protect Indonesian Women Workers from Bad Treatment

Recently I received information that the Government of Egyptians are no longer sending her female workers to Saudia Arabia, despite location the geographical of egypt close with Saudia Arabia, both are have same language and also have one culture with Saudia Arabia. The main reason Egypt no longer sent female workers is because there bad mistreatment on Egyptian women workers
This is a good decision of the Government . Try to compare it with an attitude of our Government, Indonesia, who pretend to be blind, deaf and who always sending female workers to Saudi Arabia just to become slaves to the Arabs. Cases of violence and abuse against Indonesian women workers has gone on longer, and many Indonesian women have become victims but despite being valid for more than 30 years, the Indonesian Government does not seem to care about their fate.
so, my friend .. what should we do to remind our government to protect women workers in Saudi Arabia? I think the Indonesian Government should learn on attitude the Government of Egypt that no longer send her female workers to Saudi Arabia. How in your opinion, what responses and your opinions ?

i do agree with you! the Indonesian Government should learn on attitude the Government of Egypt that no longer send her female female workers to Saudi Arabia.except for that,the female should be aware of that it is not safe tor them to work in Saudi Arabia and refuse to go to there.if they don't go to Saudi Arabia,i beleive they would be better.

yeah, sometimes as a lawyer, I want do legal efforts to the perpetrators but I am hampered by the working area of lawyers, attorneys from other countries may not necessarily be accepted to do his job in a country

I personally think Indonesian Government is not try to protect his citizen at all. When bad thing happen to his citizen abroad our embassy tend to act really slow. They don't value the life of their citizen very good. I am agree not to send female worker who work as a maid to all other country not just Saudia Arabia. Its degrading to send women as slave in other country. I think it better man to go and let the women taking care the family at home.

There will always be differences in the way people do things and so does a government body.
Honestly, Indonesia did banned sending women to Kuwait to become domestic helpers due to reported abuse violence. So, I do not think your government do not protect your country's women from such abuses or violence.
Banning is really an extreme measure and could carry dire consequences to diplomatic relationships. I am sure if there are substantial evidences and reports of this abuses happening on your women working there, I do not think your government will bat an eyelid with the ban on sending any people there.

hi advokatku that is just criminal of your government to keep sending women when they must know of the horrible way the Saudi Arabians are treating your Indonesian women. Maybe if you and a whole bunch of friends can get p eople to start sending all your complaints about this to your government they just might listen,if enough complains are sent. Tell them about how the Government of Eygpt is no longer sending their female workers to Saudi Arab because they have mistreated Egyptain women in the past. hope something can get through to your government to stop this inhu

hi advokatku well seeing as how you people have done a lot trying to persuade your government to stop sending your women to Saudi Arabia mayge you are right they have selecive sight and hearing. thats too bad too as a govenrment should be showing a good example to its citizens not doing what they have been doing. Its sad when so many governments just plain do not care about their people, the ones who put them in there in the first place. wish there was some way I could help.Good luck and God less.

seems that we've done it. Already many of the writings in newspaper until demonstration which do activists protection of labor, they had requested the Government of Indonesia stop sending women workers to abroad. But ...... I don't know where the ears, eyes and minds of the officials? then again, maybe they're has blind and deaf

i agree, but at the same time I think your government should be doing something to help the economy in Indonesia so that your women don't think that they HAVE to take jobs like that...

yes, you right, dawnald ... eventually became a separate issue. On the one hand, indeed the Indonesian Government not yet can create jobs that can absorb in large quantities

The government should prohibit, Indonesian workers, working abroad. The government should prepare for their jobs. So they do not need, to work abroad.

I agree government should stop send our civilian to become foreign worker. Not just with Saudi Arabia, cause our worker mostly are low worker, it's just destroy our credibility to foreign. But we should have another alternate solution for our worker.
If government can make better job opportunity here, people won't go abroad for work. The Question is,can our government do this? Cause if they can't, there will arise new problem with huge unemployment.
