To many people

Well we did it, went to the Spring show and only spent what we should. But it is so tempting, especially the things that are new to our area, I love to try new plants. The crowd was hugh, about a half an hour into it and I was ready to leave, I think that helped save our budget. We got home and I was exhausted from just being in the crowd. I don't get out much and avoid places where there are a lot of people, I guess if I lived where many of you do I would get use to it but now it just scares me. Well just another challenge of old age I guess.

I have the same reaction when I have to be in a crowded place. I didn't use to mind it but it bothers me now. I absolutely hate going to Walmart as it is always crowded and noisy but it's the only place that carries the coffee I like. I feel like a rat in a cage in places like that!

Good for you for sticking to budget (did you have a choice?). It does seem as if being fearful about somethings is a nasty side effect of aging. I don't like it.

Well I'm glad you stayed in budget. That must have made you feel good that you didn't go overboard. As for the crowds I'm in my fiftys and I hate the crowds too. I don't really think it has anything to do with old age. My dad has also hated crowds all of his life.
