i've tried ePSXe2 run in my laptop with specification such this : Intel T6500 Core2Duo, 1G DDR, onboard SiS672 mirage 3 Graphic 128MB. But it plays only in 10fps. When i search in the internet, i still can't find the proper spec to run this emulator smoothly. Do you have any experience in this? Share me.

Hi firdauzy I guess you will never find that... I ever read some article about PS2 emulator. If you want the same quality like PS2 on your PC you will need very-very super fast computer. And I doubt somebody will buy that computer just for play PS2... Happy mylotting...

But i read that an emulator of GameCube named Dolphin even can play Nintendo Wii in computer, but why PS2 which its quality is lower then them still cannot playable in computer? Is it because people rather buy the console than use an emulator in computer? I still don't get it. Related with this, an Nintendo 64 emulation able to reach full 60fps to play it in computer after more than 5 years. Quite a long time.

Nintendo console tend to be most commonly studied from the beginning, that's produce better emulator program than sony. There is almost no chance to emulate ps3 or xbox 360 right now, but wii is different story. But...Even play with Dolphin not as good the original Wii... So I think there is two main problem here, first programmer lack of technical hardware specification so they can't reverse engineering it. Two: Right now our common PC can't beat minimal specification to run the emulator. Maybe several years later....

normally you need improved specs to use fully functional ps2 emulator like pscx2 i think it results a low fps also because your specs are normal so in many cases emulators especially those for ps2 need much power to be fully functional anyway you can search for other one suitable for your need but i think almost all are like pcs2

PCSX2 runs 30 ~ 60+ fps or more on some games. I have a 1gb graphics memory and 2gb memory (dual core) 2.7ghz. maybe you should upgrade your computer specs or just buy the console.. Used consoles are sold through the internet for a very cheap price :)
