I got married on my late 30's not even think I could still have a baby just like what my Ob said. I am very high risk!! Unexpectedly, I got pregnant and during my pregnancy period everything was check on my health and my baby condition. everything was right no complications whatsoever..! Now my baby is 7 months old and he don't get serious sickness as I do, everything is normal for both of us now. That I have enough reason to thank God everyday in my life and the good people here God gave me to help me with my questions in life..where else can you get answers??? here on mylot.!
Now is May 03 and voting for babies photo entries at Parents.com had just started today up to May 09, I was so excited when I received an email from parents.com that my baby's photo is currently running for weekly reader's choice finalists. when I called my sister in-law told her about this and she just anyhow turn me down..!uullkk! well there's nothing wrong to get excited for my baby ( even you get excited too, right?) and trying something for my baby besides it's free.!
what will you do when somebody just turn you down because you are excited?? I felt like a worm climbed on my leg!! so I just stay away from negative people..~! huuhh!! I felt better now!

Stay positive! Negative people can only bring you down. Don't let that happen to you. I stay away from negative people as earthly possible. 
Congratulations on your baby photo contest and good luck! I have never sent my daughter's pic for any contest or anything like that, but now that you mentioned it, maybe it's not too late for a kid's photo contest or something. haha.

You have every reason to get excited and feel proud of your baby.
There is nothing wrong trying whatever oppurtonitie that will come your way, like joining contests. I also did that when my baby was months old.
Our baby is our joy and life . ..

you are extremely right!!! thanks to it.! Our baby is our joy and life especially he is my only one..I could not have another one as we cannot afford to have more than one..Life is quite hard for now..but we are trying to improved it in anyway we can..

yeah you are right..! my baby has always a comment " you're such a cute and happy baby " comment wherever I bring him..! people always notice him with such comment..ain't that something you never expect to have a baby and people has always good comment! well, I have the reason to get excited every time! right? his photo is on my profile. voting is valid for US resident and district of columbia.. or go to parents.com so you can vote on him! thanks!

Well she shouldve showed a lil more support to you and be happy to. But I wouldn't let her get you down. Stay positive and as long as you're excited & happy about it then so be it. It shouldn't matter what other people think of the situation. As long as you, baby and hubby our happy about the news that's all that counts. Best of luck and hope your baby wins!

She was probably jealous. Don't let it get to you. We all get very excited about every little thing that our babies do, even if it sounds stupid to other people.
You, as a mother, earned that right to be proud of your baby. Just don't let others spoil your enjoyment, whoever that might be. Ignore them and well, learn your lesson, don't tell her the next time. Don't waste your time on people like that. You can share it to people who would enjoy with you, or at least pretend(lol) to enjoy your baby's or your achievement. You will feel much happier.

thanks! yeah you are right! if you see how happy I am now he is about to crawl just like a wobbling worm.. every mother like me is always proud of what their baby can do. besides the contest is free.! and when I joined him on this contest I recieved this message of course my excitement overflow..among the thousand of entries there he is one of them!

first of all i will congratulate you for your baby. And don't care those person who create negative energy for others. baby's progress is the most valuable things for a mother, and no other one can feel it. So when you feel excitement during any excited news you should share it with your well wisher.and your attitude should be that I am the happiest person in this world.

thanks you are right..sometimes in our life we tend to meet this kind of people can't avoid sometimes too..but I keep a distance on her as I could..because if you stay with her she will drained your thoughts and energy. feeling frustrated everyday..!
