Mine is 'The Woodentops' on Watch with Mother in the 1950's. Grainy old black and white pictures, but I loved it!!

I know I've probably said it on here before (not to the same question) that I used to Watch with Mother at my nan's house because we didnt have a TV. On Tuesdays as Andy Pandy was "coming to play, tra-la-la-la-laa-la" my nan would sing "Time to go home" to wind me up! I can still do a mean Spotty dog impersonation

Back in the days when you had to get up off your bum and walk across to the set to change the channel/alter the brightness/volume etc etc ".... an' you try telling young people that today an' they won't believe you...."

I loved Andy Pandy too! I actually bought a video for one of my dayghters ( she's 21 now) around 20 years ago that had all the old Watch with Mother's on in the black and white. She wasn't that keen but I loved it!!!!!

I am not sure what the very first one was that I watched. I remember the ones I really liked. I would hurry home from school to watch Leave it to Beaver and Gilligan's Island! I also liked the Adam's Family and all the Lucy shows!
