I have just been out watering my garden and seeing how all my vegetables are coming on. I only have a small garden but I am growing potatoes, strawberries, raspberries, peppers, rocket, lettuce, tomatoes, carrots, loads of herbs and cucumbers.Oh and pears. I think it is such a lovely feeling when you are able to pick and eat what you have grown yourself. How many of you grow your own and what do you grow?

Since moving to my little terraced house I have started to become a really keep gardener. Yes ok all my plants grow in pots because i dont have an actual garden as such but there outside. This year im growing brocolli sweetcorn lettace and pepper. Also just planted some potatoes in a special grow bag. Last year i tryed carrots but they just didnt work at all they just were lil stumps. Also i have guinea pigs and evry year i grow them alittle tray of grass to munch on when there outside playing and getting exercise.

We try but our "garden" is actually a yard with a few plant pots!!! We are attempting cucumber, peppers and sweetcorn this year...whether they will grow or not though is another matter!!!!

Rocket is a salad leaf, an alternative to lettuce, it has a peppery taste and is very nice. Good luck with your garden.

The garden is in. Tomatoes, squash, cucumbers, radish, beets, green beans, cabbage, brussel sprouts, 4 types of peppers, and melons. Don't know how much we will harvest between the lack of rain and the wildlife eating it but it sure is fun to watch the stuff grow. So glad my mom is retired and comes over to take care of all of this. If it were left up to me I don't know if I would ever be able to even keep it weeded.

I grow a garden. I have many spots. Here in MI, USA it still frosts (last night in fact) so i am getting ready. 1) asparagus and rhubarb 2) strawberries 3) onions 4) potatoes Soon 5) Tomatoes 6) Broccoli 7) squash (summer & winter) 8) Peppers 9) brussel sprouts 10) pumpkins 11) melons Not sure what else or where. We have a large yard, 4 combine tires and other areas. I have RA and some day i will not be able to garden to the ground and the tires are about 3 foot up, where i can sit and weed from there. I love them but need more this year.

I finally have gardening space after years of being in an apartment. I have tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers (sweet and hot), eggplant, lots of herbs and for the first time I am trying to grow butternut squash bush green beans, sugar snap peas, and soy beans. It is hot and humid here in Florida so I will have to wait for cooler weather to grow things like carrots, radishes, lettuce, celery, winter squash and brussels sprouts. I also have strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and 3 citrus trees (calamondin, key lime and satsuma). I really enjoy being out in my garden, but the humidity can chase me out of it pretty quickly this time of year. It is very rewarding to eat something you have grown.

My husband planted a small garden this year, too. He started his plants from seeds so they are like his little children. He has two different kind of tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, green beans, cantalope, watermelon...and probably a few other vegetables that I've forgotten.

My dad is fond of planting trees and vegetables in our garden. We had lots of fruit trees surrounding our house so we don't need to buy them in the market (unless of course if it's not their season to bear fruits). We have mangoes, mangosteens, cucumbers, eggplants, tomatoes, etc.
