Just leave the scripture alone

Okay alot of you know that I have trouble with the whole 2012 thing but besides that I get continuously annoyed by the history channel.. They are alwasy trying to disprove the Bible.. like it is there mission in life to convert everyone into the theory of evoloutoin... or something like that... I don't understand why people just can't leave alone.. why they can't just let people who believe just believe and be happy with their lives and all the ones who don't be miserable.. because that is one thing I have noticed about people who don't believe they are miserable in their own little way.. I get annoyed because people make out like Christains are so bad because we want people to believe so they can go to Heaven and maybe we push our views a little and in the past things have gotten out of hand over it.. but I think that people don't believe are heartless and will do anything including broadcastin on national tv about how horrible people in bible were bad to make Christains non-believers...It really bothers me

It bothers me, too, and it saddens me. I know we Christians can't force our beliefs on other people, but I hate to think so many will be lost because of their refusal to even give Jesus Christ a chance. It also bothers me that there are so many people in today's world that are even more determined to either prevent the spread of the gospel or make believers look ridiculous than Christians are to getting the nonbelievers saved.

think of it as a real scenario to happen. that would give you time to repent and start doing good. and life would be easier as you accept the fact the we have less time to live on

Are you not acting as bad as them by perpetuating stereotypes? I have atheist friends who are happy with their lives. Then I have Christian friends who are unhappy with their lives. Its called equal opportunity, sister. We tell them they are wrong on tv all the time, we put up documentaries on how false their views are, finding loopholes in the Origin of Species, etc. Seeing as this is America, they have the same right to do so as we do. And I support their right to treat us like we treat them. Let Freedom Ring!

HI lilly I am with you ,leave the bible alone and let us who are Christians just get on with our lives. I really do not believe a lot of people who do not believe in God as when they get in a corner over something Ihave heard them say oH God please help me. so live us believe and we will leave you along.

What the media tell us about the end of the world just ends as at that. I mean, all we can do is to guess or speculate on what's gonna happen. Yes, we get some clues from the Bible. But I believe what's exactly gonna happen on Judgment Day is beyond our knowledge and control. I think the least we can do is to be prepared all the time.

My faith is not in doubt, so such things never bother me. Let them believe what they want to believe. Let them be happy if such things make them happy. I believe in 'Word of God'. I believe in his word that he would save us from all calamities and disasters. This was the covenant he had established with our forefathers, from the beginning. Those who are waiting for the doomsday to come for them it would invariably come. For us who are waiting for Jesus to come again, he would definitely come. For them it would be the judgment day, for us it would be the day of salvation.

Maybe it is in perception. I see it as educating myself. When they have an argument, I can research this myself. Now, Christianity is the only religion that can be backed up with historical facts. So keep your faith strong and if it bothers you so much, dont watch. I dont mind it because it gives me something to think about. If something started to shake your faith, take it to your Pastor.
