Last chance for Dhoni ? This what I saw in one of the news channel as their headline....It is utter rubbish.Just two t20 loss they are thinking of taking away Dhoni..These news channels don't have any other work other than creating problems..Stupids.... Do you want someone to replace Dhoni..? Didn't he gave his best...? I agree that the fault is on our side..players not playing well..all acceptable.Dhoni didn't give his best in this tournament..I agree..but every player undergoes some problems in his career.. Due to this we can't lose such a captain..Whether he didn't saved us when batting order collapsed.. What do you think whether they are right...? Do you want to change our skipper..?

"Last chance for Dhoni" - That's a joke It should read as "Last chance for selectors". Selectors of Indian team sends players like "P Chawla", "Ravindra Jadeja", "Vinay Kumar", "Ashis Nehra", "M Vijay", the out of form Yuvraj to play an ICC world cup tournament and Dhoni should be fired?! Give me a break! Remember Vinay Kumar hasn't had any International experience and the selectors picked him STRAIGHT to debut in the world cup and Dhoni should pay for it and get fired?! Ok, imagine a situation like this: Suppose Dhoni gets a chance to captain a "Bermuda" cricket team or "Afganistan" cricket team and loose a game, Dhoni will get fired and the other players in Afganistan stay?! Very funny

Friends whenever a team lose in the World Cup this criticism is often comes. Poor selection of players is the reason for the pathetic performance of India but look at other teams in the world Cup, ever team was off colour except Australia and England. P Chawla was sorry story for Kings Xi punjab in IPL and how he got selected ahead of Ohja was something which the selectors have to answer. Jadeja was not a good player for T20 format in my view and he was selected ahead of players like Tyagi, Umesh Yadev and even Irfan Pathan. Vinay Kumar got chance in only one match where he bowled better than Ashish Nehra. Why Zaheer is forced to play in T20 matches when his fitness is question mark, I never understand, why cannot go with Munaf Patel or Siddarth Trivedi or RP Singh. So, many bowlers were there, Praveen kumar and Zaheer went to West indies and sat in the pavilion because of fitness issues. Our bowling is mediocre and without them even pathetic. So, many mistakes happened because Indian players were more focused on IPL than the World Cup and no proper plan was done and I hope selectors use their brains at least once in coming days.

Well Indian cricket team should not replace Dhoni. This t-20 he couln't give his best but he always he gave his best. So they are not right. They are wrong. They should not talk like that they should stop to talk rubbish. They should cheer up him.

Weren't they the same channels that were applauding Dhoni as one of best captains when he led CSK to the IPL Trophy. I just think some of our news channels really go crazy. Especially two of so called debate experts who come on during the same time in rival news channels, they really make a mockery of the term debate and try to create controversy where there is none!! For me India lost in the tournament as they were under-prepared and they were not motivated and committed on the field. Yet they could still have made the semis with 5 good overs against Sri Lanka, but then the bowlers just let them down!! Cheers! Ram

Stupid desi medias create all these mess.One win,they take you to the top and if lost,they will bury u alive.Dhoni is a good captain and also the best option available.The reason why we lost is because we did'nt had any good game plan against fast bowlers in fast pitches

Yes, he is the best and always give his best.may be he missed out in this T20..lets hope he will do good in the coming season..and yes we didn't have a game plan..No players are fit except few so this T20 is completely waste for us.Even though we had game plans it will be difficult to implement with unfit players..

Hi Gany! I think, if they just blame Dhoni then they are ridiculing themselves! It is a team loss. It is not as if the other players played brilliantly and just because of Dhoni's decisions Indian team lost. All other players failed. There were no good bowlers who can haunt the opposition batsmen. Indian team coudn't chase 160+ against WI but they themselves couldn't defend 160+ against SL. So it shows team's failure. And why everyone talks after the failure? The problems were glaringly visible since they announced the team! But no one bothered and thought players are good enough. This is just waste of time for people to watch these channels and their views! And to be frank, I don't think there is any player who can replace MSD at this time and for a few more years. So it is better to get back to basics and ask players to practice short balls and maintain strict diet so that they can control the weight and be fit. Happy Mylotting!

Hi Wismay, I agree with you..This time we are totally under performed..and yes practising short balls is the best..Gavaskar said they have to be trained in a stadium at Bangalore where the pitch is somewhat bouncy,he told..Players under 18 should bowl them in 18 to 19 yards so that they will learn to play short balls...This what he suggested..But I don't whether this BCCI will do anything regarding this..They just sit in AC hall and select the team..

Media is there for criticism, my view about Dhoni and his captaincy is that no player must get the cushion that no one can ever do captaincy like him. It will create complacency in the player that no one can take my position. I know captaincy of any team in the world is tough to do but what I look in Dhoni's face that he is not that eager to win the matches in the world cup, it might be excessive cricket or whatever. He should always look for the best players included in the team or not for that he has to pressurize the selectors. With mediocre bowling side and out of form players and injured players, no side in the world can look for World Cup win. This is the second time Indian team was pathetic in ICC T20 World Cup. So, it is very necessary that Dhoni must be more composed if not criticism will follow because cricket is passion for many of Indian's. I feel it is time that T20 captain must be changed with some young players and see, Dhoni is not able to cope all the pressures and his batting is no more that explosive as it use to be in the past.

Dhoni is the best captain we had since Sourav Ganguly.He always backs the players and expects 100% from them.His calmness and patience rubs off on them exhorting them to give off their best. It is not his fault if they don`t do well.It is always the media who raise a player to the heavens if he has done well but don`t take much time to bring him crashing down if he fails. Yes under MSD`s captaincy we lost the World Cup Odi`s in West Indies, the Champions Trophy and now the T20 WC but its not all his fault. Yes he has erred and is still not perfect but then who is? Lets have patience with him and fortunately the selectors have refused to give way to the frenzied calls for his head and retained him as the skipper.It is good that Raina is being tried out as a captain but its too early to make him one and he will have to wait for his turn because Dhoni is and will be the skipper for a long time to come.

Change is must particularly when some one takes a post for granted.This is only about captinship which is going to change and not like what Ganguly faced even when he won the series against Pakistan.

I do not think so, Dhoni is doing good. If you are upset because of T20, me too upset but one thing is clear that he alonse cannot win the match. When team performs, he is the winning caption but why we start pulling him only down after loosing the match. This is not good. Dhoni should continue and must say he is doing good as caption.

Ya, he should continue as captain..If team wins they appreciate for 2 days..when we lost a series they are going for a change in captain..wtf concept is this..These media is making many bad things for the cricket..Just going on pulling down Indian team.. No, Dhoni should not be replaced. He is such a cool character who has the potential to win India the world cup. He has become very matured over last couple of years and also he can bat at any position. Just look at the way he drove CSK into Semi's in 2010 IPL. You do not need any other examples to prove his ability.
