Hi everyone! Ever since i was young i always dreamed about becoming the richest man in the world. I have never stopped trying to make it a reality. Of course believing such dreams allow people to doubt you. However, all you need to do is focus on the people that do believe in you and the impact of the will always eliminate the effect of negative comments, criticism, discouragement etc. I still hear people dream about big things but don't follow that path or dream and don't even try to make it their reality. I also met very interesting people who dream big things and try and try but give up early. I believe its never too late and you should keep following your dreams as long as you live. For me, its a goal to become one of the leaders of this generation because i want to change the world, you know and all that... Although i'm still young and still at the bottom, i see myself as the tortoise who takes his time and takes each step carefully and wisely, while the bunnies jump their way passed me, i know that i will win some day because i took my time and i knew where i was going. So i ask you, do you believe that you will keep chasing your dreams of success until you catch them?

Hi Barkeybar, yes I am still dreaming and will surely keep on doing that because I believe that " Not failure but lower AIM is crime", Think of moon atleast you will get stars..n Well our dreams keeps up encouraging that we need to reach certain goal in life, if there is not goal then life will not be as happening as it should be. And if you have confidence on yourself then definitely one fine day you will reach your goal or at least you will achieve something for sure. So always keeps on dreaming, but just ensure that we just don't dream but do something to achieve that dream as well

It is good that you keep it up Gracie!=) It is very wise and important to entrust power over your dreams to God, Allah, Buddah, Mother nature any superentity... Allowing an external "super being" help you accomplish your dreams will give you even more strength, spirit and will, as well as faith to succeed in all your goals=) Good luck to you!;)

I am still dreaming and hope that will continue to always dream. It's kind of sad that as people get older, they start to get more pragmatic and start to dream less. There's nothing wrong with being practical but leading a dreamless life can be quite sad. I hope that one day my dream will come true and I'll always have new dreams ahead of me. ^^

That is very good poohgal=) never give up! Yes, a dreamless life is quite sad... i think most people do dream but don't believe it could ever happen... It becomes more like a wish instead of a goal. Keep making your dreams come true man;)

....Hi there barkeybark, Without dreams, your soul may die. We must have dreams to have hope. Hope that tomorrow might be better. Hope that what we are wishing for may come true. Hope that our goals will be reached in time. Dreams help us to keep holding on until we see reality. It is a poor man or woman who does not dream. For dreams make us rich in spirit and belief, for to believe is to be able to go forward and become who we want to be. So dream on and keep reaching. It is a good thing to do, always and have faith with your dreams. Take care.

Dream on Though it's hard to dare Though you're fooling yourself Dream on Keep on dreaming, there's nothing wrong with it. Dream all you can because it is free. I myself don't stop dreaming, although I am not sure if I can really reach that dreamed of mind. My take on this as you go through your life is this: When you were still young, you have very big dreams, but later in our life that dreams becomes smaller and smaller, you want only to dreams of things that it is possible or probable to achieve. But I still keep on dreaming..

I understand what you mean kenites... In my situation though... I feel like my dreams have grown bigger since i was a child. I've seen that nothing is really impossible nowadays.. not literally but abstractly... Look at the generations that have past... say the general dream was the american dream, and become successful/famous/rich/etc... so lets got back in time and we see that the richest people in the world were around 50 year old investors etc, say henry ford... then came lets say... bill gates... he was around 30.. he reached the billionaire level more than a decade before ford... now you have mark zuckerberg the facebook guy... 23... close to a decade before bill gates... so you can see big dreams are more "dreamable" nowadays... We have a ton of talent shows etc that fulfill big dreams too... so i think that dreams don't really degrade as you get older... It is the belief, will, and passion for the dream that lessens as most people get older because they stop dreaming... Thus, the dreams don't get fulfilled and consequently you dream smaller...=p in my opinion..

I believe that someone who has a dream and try to make it come true, someday he will achieved it. Sometimes in that process, we get a trouble and we fell disappointed but we must keep trying and continue positive thinking. Someone has said to me that failure is the key of being success. There is no easy thing in this world. When your dream come true, you will feel proud of all hard work that you have done to achieved your dream.

Yea, as long as you keep believing and trying to fulfill your dream it will eventually come true... Failure is a very big key to success! Without failure... you'll never learn... and you learn best from your mistakes right? I think a great quote stated that success is going from failure to failure without losing hope and belief that you'll become successful in life. (something like that)

hi barkeybark well I have had a dream for years but I am now elderly and while I would love to realize it I do not think I will see it happen as the cost of postage to mail out submissions has become so high. I am an unpublished writer who only wants to see something published while I am alive to enjoy it.

I think that all of us do dream of becoming extremely rich. Even at age 36, I'm still not giving up that dream. We have this joke in the family that since dreaming is free, why not dream the extreme. Well, according to leadership gurus, dreaming big dreams is better than having small or no dreams at all. If your target is nothing, then that is all you are going to hit - nothing. The founder of Kentucky got his first big break at age 50. Abraham Lincoln failed in almost all aspect of his life and on his last try, he became the President of the United States. So you ask me, will I keep chasing my dreams of richness and success? You bet I AM! I will never stop until I get it. They say life begins at 40. Still have 4 years to make the most of everything. As long as God is on my side, everything is possible. Good luck to you and wish me luck as well!

That's a beautiful concept: dreaming! Most of us if not all started our careers from dreams and imaginations. I remember as a young kid I used to dream visiting exotic places and trod untrodden paths. As long as you believe in yourself, work hard to materialize your dreams, your dreams will come through. Before any dream to come true you first need to dream. So, keep on dreaming man! Perhaps you need lots of prayers, blessings and a lot of good luck as well. I give you my prayers, blessings and wish you good luck.

good for you! you know, in my case, i never cease to dream, and to dream big. i always dream of what i want in life. well, more like day dreaming i guess. i visualize my ideal setting, i.e. a business, to be a good singer, finance-wise, etc. sometimes i have arguments with my husbands because he feels pressured about my dreams in life. but i always tell him to let me be in my dreaming, and that i hope the we dream together of our bright future.

Actually I think that what you said it's so true . I'm glad I found a good post where people don't complain about nowadays and share unhappiness and everyday worries. I agree with you completely and I have to say that I'm always going to dream because I think it's part of our lives , it brings us goals to fulfill , self esteem and it makes the world have infinite possibilities. Also I don't believe that people should just back off when they see that the dream isn't becoming reality in 5 seconds . And they shouldn't think that a dream is too big for them . I really appreciate that you want to become the richest man in the world . You see that's a big dream but not an impossible one if you believe and are confident you can achieve this . I saw a movie called "The Secret" I definitely recommend it to you if you haven't seen it . It's brilliant and it talks about people getting always what they want and what they need . It's meant to be like that since the Universe it's here to help us . I myself want to have like 10 millions dollars , I want to move to England or France and live in a two floors house with a pool and travel true the whole word and achieve information about all the cultures in the word and also relax . And for the job I want to become a person that isn't good in just one domain . I want to have like multiple jobs and hobbies and to practice them by rotation . So keep on dreaming , and not only you and me , but all the people out there ! Nothing is too big for us to complete !

Hi barkeybark,Yes! of course iam still dreaming and i feel people who don't dream they are not ambitious in life, when we want to achieve something you have to dream, dreaming is the first step to approach the goal, sometimes because of dreaming,we come to know our needs.Dream World is the most wonderful thing in life, how Walt Disney gave life to the cartoon characters, for example Tom and Jerry,So please dream high and one day you will achieve it.

I've always been dreaming too since i was a kid. Although, it has changed a bit. Back then, i wanted to be a law enforcement agent. Now, i like to be a successful businessman. I like to make money work for me. I've taken some steps and i only wish i'm making the right ones.
