To celebrate the 5th anniversary of Advanced SystemCare Pro, the makers of this software are given away a free license for a limited time! Grab the software and the free license here: http://db.iobit.com/license-free/asc-free-license.php To make this a discussion, I will add a few things here. First, what do you think of Advanced SystemCare? I am downloading it now so I haven't installed it yet. If you have this program for Windows, tell use your experiences with it. What do you think of the makers given away their shareware? Do you think it is a good idea and will convince you to buy their products in the future or will it just hurt them because of the cost?

I have just downloaded Advanced System Care Pro and I am thrilled. I had the free version on for a while and found it really useful to run weekly to keep my computer running well so to have the upgrade is great! Thanks very much for sharing this information because I would not have known about it otherwise. I recommend the free version and I’m sure the Pro one is even better! I think what they are doing is good marketing because it does create goodwill which may entice folks to purchase their other software. Thanks again!

i haven't used this software yet. but i agree with you. company should first provide a version for people to test it. if the product is good, people will pay it. the kind of sale method is very good.

I think it will help them also and I'm glad that you found it useful! @Jack0113: I believe they have a free version or a trial version. I think the Pro version is an optional upgrade. So I think the company is doing a good job with that, offering a free version with an optional paid upgrade.

That is a good question. With the release of Windows 7, many programs are dropping support for older windows and moving to support the new Windows 7. I'm sure if it works then it will be very useful. Be sure to tell us what he thinks and if it works or not!
