I was out from mylot for almost a month, not because I am tired of sharing my opinions to friends here but because I gave time to my passion...I am back to the drawing board, brushes, canvas, oil & terracotta were my companions as I detached myself from the world wide web. It was fun though, blending colors and shaping an image for a sculpture. But it was a lot of pressure since we were only given a little time to prepare for our Art Exhibit held at the Mall in our place. And yesterday, I & the rest of my fellow artists felt the pride that we made our opening of the exhibit successfully and KUDOS to all of us. Thank you to all our mentors to name few among the many: Pablo Picasso, Vincent Van Gogh, Leonardo de Vinci, Paul Gauguin, Claude Monet, Henri Matisse, Georges Seurat, Paul Cezanne and many many more. You are our forever inspirations. The hard works & pressures we invested are all worth it knowing that there are many people from different walks who are now so much appreciative to ART. They awaken our one great desire.

Good to hear all these. Worth all the effort you put in. Try selling them to the world through online of course! Best wishes and good luck to you and your friends!

How wonderful! Your art exhibit sounded like a great success! And it's even better that you were able to step away from this computer thing and do something productive and creative. I am an artist too, but because I am so busy with family life (and admittedly getting caught up with the computer world), I haven't touched my art supplies in a long while. The only "art" I do know is with my daughter - which is fun in itself - but I should get back in to art for "me". Thank you for the inspiration today!
