Do we have to start a WAR?

Hi friends, I know how dirty this word "war" is.
But, most of us have seen enough of these WAR syndromes. Some are directly involved, some are just spectators through their television sets. We have seen recession, as also baby booms, due to wars. Read more about that on Baby-booms, and World War II.
let me give some examples: Japanese suffered a lot in WW II. they actually lost the war, and lives. They also lost all their resources. BUT, today... they are one of the TOP on technological marvels. They sure dominate the world in atleast a few areas, like automobile engineering, electronics, and gaming world.
Is that because they are involved in the world wars?
USA and UK. They are still the world leaders. Politically, and economically also. Is that because they are involved in too many wars?
CHINA . They have been fighting the war with neighboring countries. They also have a continous fight with NATURE and with their population explosion. But, they are today conquering the world with a varied product range, cheap and reliable.
do i have to tell you more examples?
Now, to excel, and flourish, DO WE HAVE TO BE IN WAR?

i don't agree with you!for example,CHINA,if the people in this country didn't involved in the WORLD WAR II ,they wouldnot lose so many resouses,lives etc.if a country win a war,maybe the country will get a lot of money or other rights to develop itself.but it is so sad for the people who lose their families,friends and so on.so,whatever the reason for the war,we can't start a war!

Disturbing thought! The point is what do you consider excelling!
India and Pakistan have been in conflict for over 50 years. I dont see any progress except in population increase.

I know that people did prosper after the wars but at what cost, I mean did anyone ever think what may have happened had our young men and women been free not to go to war but to live and work and invent new things and even maybe save some lives through science,instead they went to war and a lot never came home again.I do not think we have to be in a war if all the leaders in the various countries would sit down and use the brains the Good Lord gave them. look at mylot we are from all over the world yet we are able to respond back and forth and at least be civil,no flaming no mean remarks.right now the economy in our United States is horrible and our president should be doing more about it instead of worrying about wars, stay home and fix up; our own problems. Maybe I am being too optimistic but somehow if we can invent weapons of mass destruction then we can invent ways for all our countries to prosper without horrible wars.I think it can be done with brains used for the right things.

oh. just the thought, which I got, when answering to someone above, asking about the reason INDIA and PAKISTAN fight.
the dirty politicians, unable to solve the home-problems.. try to invent some mean story about the devil or dirty-bomb, and start a fight with them.
if you see how the IRAQ invasion started... it was all a continuous media flare-up about SADDAM hiding nuclear facilities. There were very hot debates in the UNITED NATIONS, and countries started moving in line with the story that US president wanted to float.
Again, you have asked, what would have been the growth, if the countries don't go to war. ... there might be more development. But, according to the data i collected for my hypothesis, there would be no baby-boom, there would be no more development .
checkout the passive countries. Let us say, SWITZERLAND. all the dirty, blood money, and black-money is stored in the vaults of SWISS BANKS. they are the meanest, ugliest of all the human species. the swiss banks are! in-human to horde and stock in secret, all the loot of world wars. and the continuing loot of common public by politicians and businessmen.
if only God gives me a single boon, for the sake of the development of the world and humanity, I would ask confiscate and distribute all the wealth in swiss banks .
alas, .. God is not interested in the human economy right now. HE is busy making the corrections of nature. Be it EARTH-QUAKES, or CALIFORNIA wild-fires, or ICELAND volcanic ashes ....

Countries really from long before have used domination to prosper on their own. I guess it's why countries today have to use power to keep them on top of others.
Well, what we should really wage war to is hunger and poverty. If these are conquered effectively then we don't have to worry about others dominating others.

I am very very happy. We have arrived at a conclusion to my hypothesis.
wish that we all declare war on HUNGER, POVERTY, UNEMPLOYMENT
but, people of the world will always be ready to follow a leader. What can we do, other than pray, when the LEADERS are just POWER HUNGRY?

I do not think war is necessary to excel necessary.the countries you mentioned were already in good condition and they wanted to continue their domination.
some countries like Iran,Iraq,Afghanistan etc have suffered only because of wars,I do not think there is so much improvement in their conditions because of wars.
May be in the movie Troy there is a dialogue "War is, old people talking and young people dying".
So I think war should be avoided.

your comment about Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan, is right .. based on today's analysis. But, If you would see the development that would ensue, in the next two plus decades... we have to wait and see, but, I would say, it is natural for them to go very high in their standards.

yeah War is a two edged sword either you loose or you win the pain and suffering will you as well...and on top of that we are human not animals thus one must not fight

oh. friend, I did not ask about the reasons for fighting, nor do I recommend war.
My query is as simple. Is the development that we see with the countries like JAPAN, CHINA, USA, UK, Germany.. all because they were involved in wars?

in one sense one can say that as war brought competition to them and that lead to development where development I meant only technological advancements eg
If there wasn't any WWII then there would be a simple delay of around 20-30 years in contruction of planes,computers,ICs etc...but this don't justifies the war and by all means war is the evil created by humans for humans.

oh. well. so, this attacks of terrorists and, vandalism, .. and other sorts of humans attacking humans... will definitely lead to more advancements?
so, My head line is justifiable. We do need to go to WAR, to make our country faster. and stronger. Of course, lesser in population.

No we don't have to start a WAR. War can not bring peace or not the solution of anything.
If you look at China then you will realize that they fighting for peace. They have a good reputation.
USA or UK very rich country but they involve maximum war. That's why many people don't like these 2 countries. So they don't have good reputation.
So we should not part of war. We should part of peace and love.

hahahahaha. CHINA --- FIGHTING for PEACE?
friend, I am not trying to be rude, BUT.. what all you read .. is not true.
try telling that CHINA is fighting only for world-peace.. to someone in ARUNACHAL PRADESH or TRIPURA states of NORTHEAST INDIA. or tell that when CHINA is trying to sell the nuclear weapons and the tricks of making the nuke-bomb to PAKISTAN.....
Should there be a FIGHT for PEACE? .. is it not possible to be PEACEFUL, without fighting?
You have innocently supported my statement. That there would be development only when there is war.
I am sorry, if this hurts.. but it is the fact.
