I think Dhoni is the best choice. But if it has to be changed and the choices are Sehwag and Gambhir,I would go for Sehwag. He is experienced player and captained the team for few times .also he is cool.and has good command over the game.He is apart time bowler also. But I would like to see a bowler as a captain for a change.I think it will solve the bowling problems and make bowling department match winning for us. May be Zaheer Khan or Harbhajan. !!!!

I think the captaincy should not be changed. Even though India lost two T20 World Cups, Dhoni is still the best captain for them and unargubally on of the best in the world. He is cool, calm and strategic. He has the potential to become the best Indian cricket captain. When talking about Gambhir and Sehwag, I think Gambhir is the better one. Look at his batting style now. He started as an aggressor and now he has become an accumulator who can be aggressive when needed. It is very much like the batting style of Dhoni now.

For now if BCCI changes Dhoni then I would consider it really unfortunate for India's cricket. The simple reason is that there are no good replacements available. I do not think Yuvraj can replace him. Coming to Sehwag, he himself felt that Gambhir is a better guy to lead Delhi and Delhi Daredevils than him. And Gambhir has not done any major wonders with his captaincy just yet either in the domestic season or in IPL other than win a Ranji with Delhi which hardly qualifies him for India's captaincy!! Cheers! Ram

Hi, Both are good openers.Bus as far as captaincy is concerned,i think gambhir may be more fit.Only reason is his coolness. But i think change in captaincy only won't work for indian cricket. I think most cricketers are flying in the air.So BCCI needs to keep them on the earth and make them understood that they are not the god for indian cricket fans.

Regarding Captaincy skills I am not very sure of both Sehwag and Gambhir, But given a choice between Sehwag and Gambhir for Captaincy I will go for Gambhir because he is very calm and composed.

I don't think there is any need to change the captancy at this stage as MS Dhoni is doing really well as a captain. I think the selectors have no other choice as well because I don't think the BCCI has many options availavle. As far as Gambhir is concerned I am not too sure he is that mature to captain the Indian team. Though Sehwag has captained India in some matches but I don't think he too, is reliable as captain.
