I have wondered why Obama is so vocal against the new Arizona Law and I just got the answer. George Lopez is on the TV Show "The View" and one of the things he said about this law was.... "if Obama does not have to show his birth certificate to prove where he comes from why should he (Hispanics) have to show his". ..Now that makes sense!!!!
He also said he was going to Arizona and break the speed limit because as he looks very Hispanic and has no problem proving he is legal and also a US citizen.
BTW in Europe everyone one carries ID. Especially visitors and it has not hurt tourism at all so why is it now being said that the Arizona law will be bad for tourism in the USA???

White, so are you saying that we should be more like Europe????? If George wants to see Obama's birth certificate than he can look it up on the internet. The difference is that people in Europe have had to show id in the past to be able to move around under communist leadership. We have NEVER been under communist leadership (although it was getting closer under Bush), so we feel no need to make a certain race of people to do so.

If you like obama now, let's see how you feel when next year you have to start paying tax on the health insurance that your company now gives you for free
you won;t have to pay the company for it, but you wll have to start paying the goverment for it so that's $15,000 to $20,000 that will be added to your income tax even though you never seen the money

What communist leadership... I was never in any communist country but I crossed many borders and needed to show my ID or Visa. So why are some people (like you) making such a big deal about a federal law that has been on the books for years but never enforced. It is obvious now with the influx of illegals/criminals that it should have been enforced years ago!.
As for the Internet Obama birth certificate..... that has never been accepted as anything but a piece of crap. Now that you appear to believe in this garbage makes me seriously doubt your credibility.

White, are you trying to tell me that part of Europe wasn't under communist control???? Don't you remember that Germany was divided between east and west which was run by USSR.
I do agree that we have an immigration problem, but what we are doing, and the laws that are on the books are not meant to stop this problem. The only way to stop this problem is to eliminate the jobs. And this bill doesn't do it.
White, now you know the reason that he has released it AGAIN. If the people don't think this is real, then what would showing them the same thing do? I don't care if you question my credibility, that is up to you. I just put my two cents in, and that is that.

I generally find George Lopez obnoxious. But this comment I think holds more water. We all should be carrying ID. Not a microchip but an ID.

Gotta admit..he does have a point! And we are supporting Obama just as much as we support illegals..so like he says... if Obama doesn't have to prove, why should anyone else? But, just cause George gets stopped for speeding, doesn't mean they will ask for proof of citizenship. THey ask for Drivers license, registration and car insurance. If you have all that, you'll just get a speeding ticket like anyone else. If he shows what they ask for and doesn't make a scene and give the officer a reason to suspect...George will be on his way in minutes... totally free and still in the US.

Maybe thoes that think Arizona is to tough, would like to go there and clean up the ton's of trash left by them that are sneeking into this country and maybe they shouls look at the law'sthat mexico has for outsider's then see who is being unfair
if they cannot come here in a legal way, then they should not be here at all

The problem with everyone carrying ID's is that New Mexico and maybe some other states issue driver's licenses to illegal immigrants. This cause a big issue not long ago when it looked like no one from New Mexico was going to be allowed on an airplane. But rather than having New Mexico stop giving the licenses to illegal immigrants, Congress extended or curtailed the national law so the New Mexico residents could still fly. So as a result anyone can go to New Mexico, get a driver's license as an ID and get on a plane to do whatever they want.
