Bringing Missy Home

Today I went to visit my new baby Missy. She is just 2 and a half months old bullmastiff. She has a very sweet temperament and from among the litter she is the most well behaved pup. At a very young age when you tell her to sit in one corner she will do so without making any noise or any sign of protest lolz. I love her fawn color, soft coat and best of all that endearing look. But as of now I still can't bring Missy home not until at the end of the month. I loved Missy right from the moment I saw her. Her quiet ways is quite endearing. She reminds me of a demure lady lolz. I am looking forward to the end of the month for me to bring her home. I miss her already. Right now I am preparing for my little Missy's arrival. I am ordering for a doggie bed and feeding bowl and water bowl. The vet requires her to take special vitamins for her bones and also I am stocking on her food. She is the best birthday present I have given myself from the start. wouldn't you love this cutie???

I envy you, I wish I am in your shoe right now. Your little pup is lucky to have you. The owner can now assure that you can give Missy the proper care and love. Keep it up and I hope you can take care and love more dogs.

Hi Lanie, I hope you can have a dog to. They can be a handful at times but they take away your stress. I know it's hard work but it's worth it. I know its kinda expensive in our country to buy dogs but I hope you will get one soon.

Congratulations on your new pup; you're really an animal lover. I wish I could get one too but my husband protested since I have already three cats to be taken care of. My regards to Missy.

Thanks friend. Missy will soon be home with me on the 30th! I am excited. Well those are cats and this one is a dog right? lol you can always tell that jokingly to your husband. Well when i was a child my folks had 4 dogs my own dog not included, we had 150 chickens in our backyard, 10 pigs, 4 doves. 1 talking parrot, 24 gold fishes and a turtle! Lol we had quite a zoo back then.

Oh by the way I forgot to mention we had a dozen of turkeys too! I see you are also from the Philippines if you decide to get a dog I suggest if you are anywhere near manila or quezon to adopt a dog from PAWS (this one here have undergone obedience training already and ready for homing) or through Animal Welfare Society in Quezon they have rescued dogs of different breeds but I am not sure if they have been trained already like that in PAWS.

Doesn't this breed grow into a very big dog? I like big dogs but am not really into all the up keep that goes with them at my age. We had a great dane at one time and he was the very best. We had a small kitten at the same time, and you could often hear the kitten purring and not be able to find him. That big dog would take the whole kitten in his mouth and carry him around, the kitten just loved it. After a little while out would come this very wet bedraggled kitten still purring. Those two just loved each other. We rehomed teh dog, he was just to big for our yard and kept the cat all his life, he loved dogs his whole life.

Hi Pat, yes this grows into a very big dog but she is just perfect! I love big dogs and small dogs alike. Missy's mom is a very big dog and so is her dad. I love the temperament of the breed and I just fell in love with the breed. These are gentle giants lol they love being cuddled and being kissed and hugged. They long for human company and that's what I like and most of all very obedient. Oh by the way I tried to upload her pic in her but don't know what's wrong it just wouldn't get uploaded. You can check my profile I just posted her picture there instead.

I am such a softie for dogs. I love them, love them, love them. Right now we have a smaller breed dog and we also have a large breed dog. That said, I won't be getting another dog until something happens to my Michela (she is a senior citizen now when it comes to dogs). However, we won't be getting another large dog after she passes. We are going to stick with smaller dogs from here on out because it is easier for us. Good luck with Missy when you get to bring her home at the end of the month.

I used to say that I love the smaller breed because it won't consume so much food. But I know in my heart I just love dogs small or big. Lolz.. that being said that's why I got Missy and oops getting another bullmastiff this time it would be a male. My friend is having the nest litter due at the end of June so I have another pup to look forward to hehehe... I guess when your big dog goes away you will miss her a lot. What's her breed by the way? What small breed are you thinking on getting?
