i am really appreciating the existence of internet. i couldn't imagine how difficult it was during the time that there was still no internet. when families have to be separated because one member has to work in another country. this has been the trend in my country. i have met a some people before, having trouble communicating with their love ones abroad. i would hear them, "it's been a month since he last sent me a letter." "why is he not calling anymore? it's been weeks." now, even just a day, i couldn't wait to hear my families voices. i am working outside my country. my first priority before was to invest on getting a computer. now that i have, i am enjoying communicating with my family. our daughter is also now able to operate our computer at home and most of the days, she would wake me up so we can chat.

This is the greatest invention i guess but i don't know when the first time it has found, perhaps 80's while the pc is too expensive or even before. I can't imagine the world without internet connection today, the foreign exchange would be down at stock exchange, we have to buy original dvd's, far away from family/friends would be so bored, etc. So hopefully at the future we can moving via internet. LoL. Have a nice day guys.

who knows, before, internet i guess was just a fiction in some storybooks. now it became a reality. anyhow, till now, the fiction shown on startrek about being transported through a machine is still just a part of the show and is still a fiction. who's to say that maybe after another decade, this will then be a reality?

I can understand your thankfulness when you can't be at home with your family! The internet fills so many needs, though. I use it to work as well as to save money by finding coupons and good deals when I need something. Research, entertainment, keeping up with the news and weather, keeping in touch with family and friends and a lot more, come through the internet. It would be one thing I wouldn't want to do without.

The internet is great, i wonder how people would react if it just disappeared lol. Don't get me wrong i love it as much as the next guy but tbh ive found it quite boring a lately, struggling to find stuff to do while i stare blankly at my screen :) ah, well i guess i'll do some mylotting :)

I must admit, i do not think that I could imagine not having internet ... I do everything online these days, from keeping in touch with friends to shopping and paying bills... its a great way of connecting with friends and family for quickness, and not only that it does save me time paying stuff online, rather than having to go out to the town to do it.

yes me too, i already think that internet is now part o fmy life and that my life will not be complete without it
i become so addicted to it doing a lot of things using internet, it also help my boredom away and a good thing to distract my mind once im very down nor sad or have problem.

Internet gives us a lot of benefits. We can gain new knowledge,listen to music, watch videos, games etc. It is really Interesting and amazing. I am browsing to other country.we can chat .

Yeah. I honestly am not sure how I would have gotten by without the internet. I've had a few times where mine has gone out for a good length of time and I've felt like I was going bonkers. It makes writing research papers for class easier, it helps me stay in touch with people, it prevents me from being bored whenever I'm at home, and now it's become a way for me to earn money. It really is amazing.

true enough. i also had experienced working online for a client from the USA and it was really exciting to be at home and i was working at the comfort of my own time. as soon as i finish my tasks, i'm with my family at once. but now, i have to choose going outside my country just to have the chance to practice my profession. it is unfortunate to be employed with another field in my country. but still i thank god for those chances.

Internet gives us a lot of benefits. We can gain new knowledge, listen to music, watch videos, etc. just by browsing the internet. It's really amazing how much you can do with it. Internet is also used in my country as a means of communication from their love ones abroad. They can chat, call each other or use webcam to be able to communicate. And the best part of it: it's free and you see them in an instant :)

Yeah truly Internet is something we admire a lot, I also thank Internet because through it we can have friends all over the world, we can earn money while sitting in our homes, we can be wiser while surfing the pages so its really cool to have Internet at home.

yes your right, internet help a lot specially to communicate with out love ones abroad, unlike before that we need to pay for long distance call just to talk to them nor wait how many days to reach the letter to them, and then now we cant just hear their voice but we can also see the through webcam and no need to think of how much to pay as internet bill is fix monthly. besides we can also make research fast and quick with a lot of choices. so nice to really have internet and computer of course.

yes i agree we must be thankful because we can now enjoy life to the fullest with the use of internet, we can now have connection with far people because of internet we can now also work in our own home because of the internet.. i just can't think about living now without internet.

I cannot imagine life without internet and I mean it... in fact I'm so addicted that if one days passes and I didn't check my emails and do what I have to do I'm getting mad.
It was indeed difficult in those times when even telephone was SF, but they didn't think so. Imagine that in the future, the next generation will say the same think about us : Oh, how could they even breathe without " whatever will be invented from now on ".
Beside comunication with relatives or family the internet also gives you the possibility of meeting people from all over the world, learn new things, playing games or educate yourself by reading a lot of interesting things.
So all in all internet offers you a fascinating world.
