Hey, my dear Mylotters. Good day.:-)
For quite some time I have been posting really depressing topics. So, I decided to change my path and would rather hear wonderful things.
Yes, it is true that we are in constant struggle but somehow we still find the means to keep our heads up high and get through our lives with flying color.
I AM LUCKY BECAUSE .... I HAVE KIDS WHO LOVE ME, I HAVE FRIENDS WHO ACCEPT ME FOR WHO AND WHAT I AM. I AM LUCKY BECAUSE GOD LOVES ME.:-)
How about you/ Do you have a reason to feel lucky and blessed? If yes, just finish the sentence.:-)

even thoug im pregnant with no job and the guy left me i can still say that I AM LUCKY because i have god and the support of my family as they give me courage to face my pregnancy, and my baby to face my life positively. i still cant help but cry sometimes but i just think of my baby and the best things that i can give to her. i dont want my baby to suffer a lot and i want to give the best for her.

I am so very lucky because I have love in my life, a child to nurture, a roof over my head, food on my table, and the most important thing my family and I have is our health because without health and love nothing else matters and for that I am most thankful.

It is true, Paula. Love and health indeed are two important factors that we should be eternally grateful for. All else seems useless and fade away when lacking these two...
Not so many people do realize this...sometimes we would often take for granted the love we receive because we think we deserve to have them. and our health, we don;t seem to care until something bad happen to our body...

Oh, Syankee, I'm so glad to hear that despite of your condition you still have a grateful heart.:-) I admire you for that, my dear.
We shouldn't let our defects or illnesses or whatever bad circumstances put us down and become a bitter person. We have so much things that we should be grateful for. Just look around us and appreciate everything instead of finding faults in them.
God is great and He is always good to all of us.:-)

I had a very busy days weekend or not, since I have a three months old baby plus her sister is also a handful to deal with, too. But, yup, I am always having a great time with my daughter. Some downer from my partner's side but I don't let it affect me that much anymore. Thank you for asking.;-)
I'll be looking forward to hearing that good news and I have this nagging curiosity that you need to satisfy or else.... I hope you're not thinking I am being nosy, are you?

To me,I am lucky because I have my beloved parents who are always by my side.No matter how well or bad I perform,they are always the ones who support me.I am lucky because I have a lot of friends,they accompany me when I am in the university and far away from home.I am lucky because I can get access to a lot of advanced stuff,like laptop,mobile phone,MP5,which you could never have imagined several decades ago.Anyway,I appreciate a great number of things that make me become who I am right now.

You are right, Babyanna. It is high time that I entertain positive thoughts rather than sulking in negative ones. And, I owe it to Mylotters who bear with me all this time.:-)
You are one lucky kid. ;-) When some of the kids your age are still wishing they have those kind of good stuff that you already have, you are savoring their benefits already. It is pleasant to hear though that you never forget to appreciate all those wonderful things that were given to you plus a wonderful family and friends to top it all.

I am lucky because I have a family that I can rely on when times get tough. I am lucky I have pets as my stress reliever and I am being cared by them also. I am lucky because I have few friends, other have none. I feel blessed to have few. I am lucky to have job some don’t have and I hope they will have in a near time. I am lucky because I am healthy I can see, feel, I can move and I can decide for myself. I am lucky because I am still alive.

Actually I am not perfect, like i always feel grateful with my life. Sometimes it comes to the point that life is boring and it seems against me. But I still appreciate life after all. When I do starts to complain, I have a picture of people in Africa here in my desk and I starts to be thankful of what i have. We have to be humble and no matter what the odds, we are still blessed to have a life.

It is true that some of us are not privileged enough even to have someone they can call a friend.
I can imagine that you are happy and content with your life now. Who shouldn't be when all the good things that a person could wish for seem you already have.

Your post uplift my spirit at the moment. On this busy life, we always tend to forget to count our blessings. We focus more on things such as food, love life, money, friends, movies, gadgets, and many more. We spend so much time brooding over the things that make us sometimes upset or depressed.However positive people don't do such things that way. They always face life with great enthusiasm. Each day brings us new opportunities and challenges us to be a better individual and discover what are our purpose in this life.I am lucky because just like you, God always give His undying love and infinite guidance with me. I am blessed because He gives me people who are always there be it in good or bad times.I have a complete family and even though we have some problems in different aspects, we are still happy. We sleep very soundly at night. We do not worry much. We help each other to solve a problem. Our theme is "All for one and one for all." That is what we always are. I am very thankful I have a great family, friends and a loyal boyfriend. My ambitions in life seems to be elusive but I know one day, I can catch all of them and make a happy life in the future.

sometimes it took us almost forever to find the one meant for us. some unlucky people were not even given the chance to see theirs in this lifetime. You are very blessed then, Hagirl, for finding yours despite of what you had been through.Take care of it, for once it is gone it will never come back to you again...

All you have mentioned are added bonus , but, not all human beings are lucky in all aspects. And, I'm sure that like everybody, you also have your downs . I am lucky/blessed because I have finally found a partner who accepts every aspect of who I am, who's understanding and supportive.
I am also lucky/blessed because even tho my health may be failing and my job is on the rocks, I still have a roof over my head, food in my belly, and a warm bed to call my own.

I too am lucky because I have a husband who loves me, great parents, a loving family and friends who care about me no matter how long since we speak to each other, and we have our health, I am lucky because I am able to give thanks every day for what I have rather than what I don't have or still want to achieve..
Goals are important but so is enjoying what we have currently and finding some good in every day no matter how difficult parts of it may be.
This is a great topic eurekafemme. Doesn't it make you feel good to realise how blessed you really are no matter what struggles some days bring?
That's one of the reasons I am so taken with the Law of Attraction which basically states that you attract what you think about, so if you focus on negative thoughts, your life will be full of negative things, whereas if you focus on positive thoughts and look to the bright side of your life, it will be full of positive experiences and you will be able to take care of the things that cause you worry without them having too much of an impact on you... (It's much more than that but that's a kind of nutshell explanation..)

Come to think of it, I posted this discussion because I wanted to change my mind set.And, viola! I ended up receiving wonderful reminders how people are so blessed by God even if we don't realize it yet...
You are right, negative thoughts beget negative results, positive begets positive. It may sound so hard to be always positive but it is easier than being negative. And, when I seem to forget, I'll scan your response so that I'll be reminded again by this fact.

when we can choose to look at the positives it really does help to lift our mood and others find it uplifting to be around us (most of the time lol - there are times when being positive can get on peoples nerves because they want to wallow a bit but overall it's a true old saying I think 'smile and the world smiles with you, cry and you cry alone')

I'm lucky because I have very supportive family, who all strive to keep me happy and I do for them too. It's amazing how you can have nothing but start a family and by the end of it all, you've managed to achieve all the things you could hope to. I am very lucky that I have the right type of people in my life and I luck forward to doing my home up fully and living happily here for many years to come.

I am lucky because of so many things. I live in a good home. I have good parents though they are seperated right now. I have a good family. I have good friends. And I am happy and lucky because God loves me in His own special way.
There are so many reasons to feel luck and blessed. In my 27 years of living this life - I could not track of the many times I have been blessed. Though I forgot to say thank you sometimes but I really am thankful.

I am lucky because I am still alive to this very day. I am lucky because many good and bad things happen in to my life. I am happy for the bad things because they make me more stronger and wiser and I can definitely learn from my trials along this path of life. I am much more lucky for all the blessings I have received from God.
Most importantly I am lucky because I have my family to support me and love me unconditionally. Sometimes life is full of disappointments and I am still lucky because i never stop smiling and my heart is always filled with renewed hope every single day.

I will say i am the luckiest person in the universe, i am blessed with kids, grandkids, a cute lovely wife, i had a decent job, where i earned a lot, even now i get decent pension, i have wide circle of friends around the globe...

If I'm not mistaken it is you in that profile picture. You are truly blessed that you have had the chance to enjoy such blessings and are still continuing to reap the fruits of your labor considering that you are in your prime.
Compared to my grandparents, you are far more blessed... And I envy your grandchildren that they have a Grandpa who is still so aware how lucky he is until this very minute.When most people at your age tend to sulk in one corner, here you are still consciously enjoying life and grateful for that.:-)

I don't really believe in luck, too, but rather more on as blessings. I used luck because other people consider luck as blessings.
Yup, I do have a lot of things to be grateful to God. Like you, I believe that He is taking care and loving me everyday of my life that no matter how hard life is, I still remain standing and that with all my life's journey I was never alone and will never be.:-)

Well, the mere fact that we are still breathing is a blessing enough to be grateful to God for each day.Not everybody is given another chance to see another dawn in their life as the way we have been given to do so. Some of us had alreadt given up life because they thought that their lives were a hole of misery...Which is a sad fact.
I am thankful for you, though ,that you had realized how lucky you are because God is always with you. Keep on believing ,my dear.:-)
