One of my favorite street food is barbecue especially the meaty and well-seasoned barbecues. There is this particular place where I buy my favorite barbecue and it's so worth it every time I buy one. Also, I love siomai. Here in the Philippines, siomai can not only be found in Chinese restaurants but also on the streets. I just can't get enough of the two.

barbecues! some barbecues are sold as street food in every places! and they are my favorite! aside from "balut" or "balot". it's like no one can ever replace barbecues in my life, i can eat them with or without rice and oh it can be a spicy one or a sweet one. but there are some barbecued things that i dont like. they are the?: "isaw"!

I love street food, so this is a hard question. Hmmm... We have this fried penoy - boiled duck egg coated in flour and deep fried, dipped in vinegar with onions and chilli (oh, my mouth waters). But, you can't eat a lot because it's so high in calories

Hi, himan. I have never heard of this term. But the picture of this looks delicious. I like hot dogs as my street food. And I love tasty snacks. We don't have street foods where I live at. I will have to to go an city to eat this for myself. I think that having street foods around can be very yummy and enticing.

I used to eat golgappe or Pani Puri as some people refer to it colloquially, until I realized that the chat sellers are careless about maintaining cleanliness. They use bare hands to dip them in the chatty or in a brass vessel. Then they put the soiled plates in a bucket and wash them in the same water. The water too they give you drink is in glasses washed together in a bucket. I felt repulsive and stopped going to these street chatwallahs. In UAE, I found several chat shops. There they were maintaining absolute cleanliness. They served them in disposable plates. They wore caps and gloves. I resumed my taste for golgappes once again there. Now in India they have started selling these in Malls. Here in Malls I find they are maintaining a same degree of cleanliness, as in UAE. Whenever I go to a Mall, I make a point to eat them there. Now a day’s some shops too are selling golgapes. You can bring them home, make tamarind water and chutney and have them at home as well.

you are right but actually you know that if you are eating outside you willl have to make cleanliness an exception because everywhere the same thing is there .........and i believe .....whatever is about to happen is going to happen ..............whether you eat that thing outside or eat in your house ............and one more thing is that you cannot make taste as an exception ........you need to have the best taste.................

I don't think street foods are good for the health, and i think that every street foods you eat will get a lot of bacteria or other micro organisms that comes from dust and other unseen or unnoticed insects that flew into it. But still, we cannot avoid eating street foods and one of my favorites is the one we called fish balls and Kwek kwek. I love it so much specially when you dip it into the sauce vinegar with salt, little sugar and spices.
