Your Favorite European Country??

France
May 25, 2010 4:59pm CST
I just got back from a day at the Pyrenees in France. It was awesome. The change from the hustle and bustle of Paris has really helped me to re-energize myself. I'm hoping that after this I'll be able to focus more on work. I fell in love with France the moment I set foot on this country, but then France isn't the same as any other european country. Italy, or Tcheque Republic are two totally different countries all in all.

Hi missybear, so you're a german?? Because you're currently living in the states right? Yup, I've been to Rome and their ruins are pretty breathtaking. I stayed only a night there so I didnt have enought time to go to the city of the Popes :)

Yeah, It pretty much rains all the time in England, it sucks. But when the sun does shine there are some beautiful places to see.

I have to say that I've been to England 3 times and really enjoyed all three trips. I would, however, LOVE to return to Italy. I love old stuff and Italy and Greece are the places I would like to go. Yes, there are old stuff in the other countries, but... I just love those Roman and Greek ruins. and there ya go, I've been to some of the stone age stuff in England, and would like to see more, but... I can only dream at this point!

I have NEVER been a camper. I like to sleep inside and I don't walk well, so backpacking and stuff is not really my "cuppa"

Yeah, I went to Athens myself last year. And it was awesome. Thanks to Easyjet and Ryanair, and any other low cost company. I'm a student so I'm always on a tight budget while travelling. But backpacking isnt bad either. Dont you agree?

I love Berlin, Spain and France and Italy. Whenever there are certain movies featured these places I do watch because I want to see different places from the country. I dream to visit that places. I always wanted to be there with my loveones. I want to explore it and feel the air. I feel those places are romantic places. i want to spend my honeymoon there.

I have been to a number of European countries, and all of them are unique in their own ways, scenic places, cultures, traditions, and so on. Among the countries I have been to, I should say Switzeralnd is my favorite. I was in Zurich, and Geneva, and places on Lake Geneva. So beautiful breathtaking places.

My siblings have just come back from their Europe tour and Paris is one of the country that they like most. I have not been there but hopefully, I can make a trip there one day.

I have visited many different countries in Europe. I am fond of Italy but think it is expensive. Therefore my favorite country in Europe is Croatia. It is cheaper there. It has a long beautiful coastline and some lovely islands. I also adore Montenegro. It is a small country south of Croatia which has some very special sights. It has few tourists and is unspoilt. I am glad you had a lovely time in France. I have been to France a number of different times. I miss going there now that I have moved further away from it. Where I used to live I often used to go over to France.

I like Germany. France was pretty, but the people weren't as nice, especially in Paris. Then again, I speak German and I don't speak French. Maybe that's why. :D

How wonderful to find a place that brings you so much joy. That's how I feel about England. For me there is a gentleness in the English countryside that's different from other places.

I was born in England, London Bridge and I am happy to be here, however if I had to choose another European Country it would be maybe France, Paris, as my boyfriend lives there so I would like to go back with him to his country and explore the places too. I like the cuisine there and the shopping malls too.

Spain, I just love Barcelona, it's a fantastic city, the atmosphere is great. There the Rambles to walk down, the harbour, City bus tours, la sagarda famillia( possibly spelt that wrong) which ia an amazing piece of architecture and it's not even finished yet. Also there is the nou camp which is a fab stadium, I've watched a game there and it was quality. I also like the language, after mt first visit to Barcelona, I came back home I signed up for spanish lessons.
