Do you think all Discussions under 'NO RESPONSES" tag are Substandard?

Not really! There can be many reasons for a discussion not eliciting responses. Here is my textbook response. a. The discussion starter changed his avatar. Now avatar is something with which people identify their friends with. They look for avatar of friends with whom they vibe well. When it is not there, there is every possibility of the discussion slipping their notice. So rule number one - if you want responses - dont change avatar as often. b. The discussion may relate to a topic that the person is uncomfortable with so doesnt want to expose his or her feelings on the matter. c. The discussion may relate to a topic that the person has not yet gone through - for example I cant be expecting others to think about political situation in my country or my state. d. The friends who normally come for discussions get too busy for some personal reasons. e. The friends have very long list of friends. So they can only respond to a few discussions in a day. f. The timing went wrong. Weekend (starting Friday) wont get much response because people have outing plans on weekends). g. The discussion starter has been absent for much too long, and the day he started discussion - there were way too many so the discussion ends on page two or three of his friends login. These are the main reasons I could come up with. Here are some substandard reasons. a. Mylotters completed their target for the day. b. Mylotters are angry with the person so they have started a campaign through PMs to ensure that the person doesnt get any responses. I totally agree with you Balu. It happened so in my case. Some of my discussions are not even responded by a single friend and so I am unable to resolve it by giving the BR tag. But the very same discussions were started by some of my friends for which they have got nearly 70 responses. So, may be this is a case of over lapping by members who are busy with some other work at that time or it may not get the attention of friends, i think

Yes I agree with you. Some of No Responses discussions are really good. I respond to them whenever I find time. I too feel why there was no response for this. May be it is overlooked by members.

hi baluyadav not all of them but some of them are just one sentence and also may be breaking a mylot rule. I tend to be more careful now and do not respond to an iffy discussion as am tired of losing responses and money unnecessarily.I think others are being more careful now too as mylot is deleting more quickly.
