Do you ever get the munchies late at night, like right before sleep? Some nights I work from 2 until 10:30 or later at night. I have a small lunch at work around 4, and by the time I get home I'm starving. I know I shouldn't eat since I'll be in bed soon, but I find it hard not to eat something when I get home from work.

honestly, you shouldn't take such long periods of time between meals. its a bit unhealthy and can make it harder to lose weight. also its not recommended to eat food at night, because ur just going 2 be sleeping so you dont have any chance to burn any of it off. u should take some snacks with you to work. Like a granola bar or an apple. Those are always yummy and pretty healthy. And that way you won't gobble something up when you go home. I get munchies sumtimes and when I do i usually eat a few sticks of baby carrots or an apple. or i know a lot of people just go to sleep as soon as they start to feel tired so they avoid eating tat late. of course if you have no chance to snack during work, u should pbbly eat after work or else it would starve u. but maybe u should keep it light, like a small bowl of cereal or yogurt

Well, when I close at work I usually get a lunch 2 hours after I get there then I don't get another break until I get to go home. I work a retail job and spend 90% of my night on a cash register. We're not allowed to have food or drink on the floor and I'm lucky if I can find a second to go potty most less a snack. Maybe I should find some light but filling snacks to keep here to have a little something when I get home.

Ahh I see, then I understand why. I have an idea, you can make some food pre-made before you go to work. n have it ready for when u come home. n ull have time to make sure its healthy n wont just grab anything.

yes, I do sometimes but I stop myself because I know it is not healthy for me, it can just cause weight gain. Though sometimes I cant just help myself but eat, worse thing is, the food that I'm eating is fattening, chocolates. According to an article that I have read, to prevent ourselves from eating before sleeping, we should drink enough water, especially before sleeping and eating organic food to prevent ourselves from being hungry.

Hubby eats a lot of chocolate at night. When I eat at night its usually chips, or even cheese and ham.

Its depends! There are many times that I am hungry before I go to bed so I really have to eat something. I tried not eating something before and I was hungry and the thing was, I wasnt able to sleep because my stomach was growling.

no. it's not advisable to have meals before sleeping cause your digestive system will be resting too when you sleep.

Eating before bed is not recommended. Many people enjoy eating dinner and fail to realize that time truly matters. It is recommended that people stop eating at 7:30 PM. We all know that being healthy is a good choice or the better choice, yet, it is hard or extremely hard to do. It depends on how serious each person is about their health and goals in life.

I've heard differing times as when you shold stop eating by. Depending on the source its anywhere between 6 and 9.

This is a case, because soon as the food food doesnt get digested it may turn to fat....and can give you a fat belly!

Sometimes I have that cravings too but I try to control it every time,I want my stomach to be empty at least 3 hours before bedtime and fortunately I did it successfully.Maybe It has be practice to get used to it, now for many years I did quiet well, If I will take some late snacks I have to tolerate to stay awake till it subsided.Have a good day!

3 hours before bed sounded like a lot a first, but not so much when I stopped to think about it.

It is not a bad thing for you to eat before bed if your tummy is growling. The problem lies in that you should refrain it from being a habit.one of my experience is you keep a good interval between your supper time and bed time.

Hi,nonersays! Yeah,I do feel like eating something right before I go to bed sometimes.I am kinda like a night owl.So when I stay late,at about midnight,I usually feel a bit hungry. Then I just grab anything I can eat, lol! Well, the good thing is that I still stay very thin.So I don't need to worry about getting fat after I eat before going to bed. Have a nice day!

Hi nonersays! Sometimes i will have something to eat late at night. i will only have a small portion of snack (e.g fruits) and make sure not to overeat it.that's all.you don't have to feel guilty to eat late before you go to sleep.:)

The reason that people shouldn't eat before bed is the food we eat will digest too slow and stay in our degistive system too long, then the food get poisonous. If you are very hungry, maybe the food will move fast and no problem will happen? - personal inference.

Yes, I munch on chips before I sleep. Some days I have nuts also. I like to munch chips and nuts before I sleep. I don't have too much, just 2-3 nuts or chips.

Yeah, as far as I am concerned, I think I may have some same feeling with you that I may just want to have something before going to bed, for I am really so hungry at that time. Usually I eat a lot of food in the afternoo. But when the night comes, I will still feel so hungry. There is always a time that I will find some dicious munchies to eat before bed.
