One of my happiest memories of traveling to different countries is snorkeling in the sea. The first time I went snorkeling I was twenty one years old. It was at Australia's Great Barrier Reef. I was the colorful coral and the friendly fish. Since then I have been snorkeling in the French Polynesia, the Cook Islands, Samoa, the Seychelles, the Maldives and Belize. I have happy memories of seeing amazing looking wildlife. In Indonesia I saw orangutans and that was very special. Then in Kenya I went on a safari and saw animals like lions, giraffes plus zebras. In Australia, New Zealand and South Africa I have seen penguins and seals. What have been your happiest memories of traveling to different countries? Have you had any more happy times that you can remember?

I love the beach so the happiest memories I have while traveling are my trips to the beach. It is a good thing that the Philippines has a lot of pristine beaches to choose from. However, when traveling to other countries, I also enjoy tasting different cuisines so I make it a point to taste the staple food in the country I am visiting because I have always believed that food and travel makes a lifestyle.

Hi there Maxi Max. I am living in Romania and i have visited Greece's seaside in 2008 (Olympic Beach) and i have also traveled to England in the summer of 2009 - that's where my girlfriend's sister lives, where we slept. Thinking of Greece, i loved the very clean water and beach, the nice attitude of the people there and the various pieces of souvenirs that i got to see. I haven't visited the rest of the country, as we wanted to enjoy the sea a lot. As for England, we visited quite a few places there - Bristol (the second largest zoo after the one in London), where we've seen a whole lot of animals, some of which i never even though or imagined to belong to the Ice Age (just like the second movie with the same tittle).; Swindon ( the train museum there); London (well we visited some of the interesting places there, but more remains to be explored the next time we go there). This year we are visiting Greece again, Olympic Beach once more, but i hope we get at least one day in which to visit something new :)

Hi max, one of the things I regret is that I never gave scuba diving a go. The closest I came was one lesson while holidaying. I believe I would have loved diving. I think my time has passed, but I may seek some lessone, if my finess is good enough, when I return to Thailand in December. However, at my age it's probably a little late.

Well my most recent happiest moment was living my childhood dream of going to Disneyland. It was especially memorable as my children were with me. Iwould love to travel more ,but if I could not travel anymore, I am extremely happy that my dream of Disneyland has been filled.

I remember one year, my sister and I went on a scuba diving lesson in Lanzarote. I loved it, my sister had a few problems and had to surface with the instructer once or twice and I was left on my own for a while, since the other two had problems and had to go with a seperate instructer. While I was down alone, there was schools of fish just swimming around in circles around me, it was amazing I would definately like to do it again, especially somewhere like the Great Barrier Reef. It all just seemed so calm and relaxed, unlike the rest of the hussle and bussle of the area. A different year we also went to Longleat(unsure on spelling :( ) zoo, and it was great fun, expecially watching my sister harassing a wallaby for a picture xD as well as a camel sticking its head in the window beside her, resulting in her screaming her head off when she turned around at the car tour part. The only bad side to that was, our car nearly broke down in the lions enclosure. O:

maximax8, I must say that the most memorable destination for me would have to be our honeymoon trip to New Zealand where we spent almost one month there. A few sceneric places like Lake Tahoe, Queenstown, Milford Sound, Te Anau Glowworm caves, Doubtful Sound, Hamilton farm stay where the farm we were accommodated had played host to many celebrities including Texas star J R Ewing. We really had a wonderful time with the many sceneric attractions and thrills like helicopter rides, white water rafting, bungee jumping and many more. It is also a destination for couples or newly weds to spend quality time together.
