I have recently heard a story about a man who married a woman and raised her daughter from an infant as his own, When the girl turned 18, This man divorces her mother, then marries her! What is your opinion on this subject? How could someone marry, and maintain a relationship that includes mature relations with a person they raised as their own child?? How could the girl marry the man than was known as her father?? Not even asking how she could do this to your mother? Makes you wonder about what happened before they got married!!

in a hundred years, the crazies are the new normals. i just hope that there wont be many cases like this in the future. we are over several billion in this planet, and by that time, the population would still be approximately that many. may the crazies just go out of their houses and find the one they want to marry outside their family circle. this isn't ancient history where one has to procreate with blood relations.

This is insane---these kinda stories pop out each day and i really wonder if there would be any relations left in the coming future.every one is so concerned about having $ex and they're just a$$holes in my opinion who does this.I wonder what was her mother doing when he was marrying her daughter

I have heard of this happening before. Actor Woody Allen made headlines for doing this same thing. I don't understand it. I know it is legal and all but it does make you pause and wonder just when did he stop looking at her as a daughter and more as a lover? And how could this girl feel ok with herself having relations with her mother's lover? I really can't understand it at all.

Hi, Rebeccarogers2010. Yeah, it does make you really wonder just what these two have been up to before she grew into an adult. This had to have been planned. This is just disgusting! I feel so sorry for the mother in all of this! This is sick and perverted! Things like this should be opposed by the law!

it's disturbing to me but not for the same reason probably the others are saying like cos she's his step daughter and now they're married. I don't really think it's too big of a deal - fact that he dumped his wife for the stepdaughter. After all they're not blood related, now if that were his own flesh and blood daughter... that would be sick. The only thing I find disturbing about this story is that it is impossible for the daughter to have been persuaded then married all in one year (her 18th). Which probably means this man has been "courting" this daughter probably since she was 12 or 14, kept this up 'till she was 18, then married her. Now THAT is disturbing. Not to mention my mental images that she was probably molested too in some form, this is usually what makes the child fall secure for her abuser. If you are near to this family I advise you to start digging as this is probably the most likely pattern and results that lead to this event. But then again, maybe true love? If they're genuinely happy and no foul play was involved, I would let it go, even if many people find it sick or disturbing.

Wow that is pretty wrong. It would still be pretty wrong even if he didn't raise her. But the fact that he raised her from an infant is just disgusting. I can't believe he could not feel like a dad after raising her all those years. And how could she not feel like he was her dad instead of seeing him as a husband. My guess is they must have been fooling around before she turned 18 and then just waited till she was 18 to marry so he wouldn't get in trouble. I wonder at what age she found out he wasn't really her dad.

I know they are not related genetically, but if you raise a child from infancy, then you are their parent, and it seems very bizzare to want to marry them.

This is really weird to me because I cannot understand how can a father who well acted as a father for a girl for eighteen years and now marrying her leaving the mother of the girl, it is so wrong to me.

...Hi Rebeccarogers, In this world all kinds of relationships take place. The one positive thing I would say is that at least he didn't sexually abuse her while she was growing up maybe? This is another Woody Allen story where you raise a step-daughter or an adopted daughter and then marry the woman. Some people don't respect boundaries, it only makes things more enticing for them when they destroy the boundaries. We are supposed to be the higher species of animal but that may be questionable in some instances. One other thing, young people are easily lead, especially by someone they trust as she did this man, easy to manipulate her in my opinion. Take care.

I find this so sickening to the pit of my stomach. I cannot imagine sleeping with someone who raised me! I mean could you? Agghh seems like they both wanted it. Not just the guy but also the girl. If I have a stepfather like that I wold flatly say no and slap him! This reminds me of the Woody Allen story.

I know that this is what happened to Morgan Freeman, just that Morgan did not raised his step daughter. After he divorces his wife and he married his step daughter. Its also a may-december relationship. I feel disgusted with this news but that's their life. Same with other I also wonder how does the mother feels about it. Did she just accept it with her whole heart or what? It very shameful, I guess they no longer have delicadeza in that case.

I find it disturbing and shocking that the man married his 18 year old step daughter. They would have been like father and daughter and they were more like boyfriend and girlfriend. I wonder what the man's original partner the daughter's mother had to say about it. I am not going to even imagine what they got up before they got married. I wonder how they managed to get romantic when they are dad and step daughter. I didn't think any girl would want to marry her own father. The hurt she causes her own mother must have been terrible. The man fancied a younger model so he went for his own step daughter who is similar to her mother. My opinion is they should not have been allowed to be married because raising a child then marrying is sick.

This is a very strange story. I haven't heard of it, but it's sounds strange. I'm really not sure how he could do this, but that's just me. It doesn't make much sense to me at all.

I never really thought that a person could really do such thing. what they are doing is a taboo and is very disgusting. I dont think they are in right mind. People who dont have any psychologic problem would not do that.

That is disgusting. It's true that they did not violate any law by doing that because they don't have any blood relation. But that is an immoral act. I felt sorry for the mother of that child.
